Its been a while And I thought I'd give an update on th build.
I've got some stuff I've dune and some NEW stuff to do.
I hope you all enjoy the pictures to come.
I'm thinking at some point ...
When I get a bigger Turbo ill be using a Magnus V-4 cast aluminum or JF fab billet aluminum intake manifold.
I'm still waiting on more dyno sheets on them and I need a throttle body now so...
What to do???
Right!
I've read a lot even what was posted above...
I'm just wondering a lot about what options we have.
Some say Q45 TB others say no way,
Some say S90 and I like how they look, but I haven't used one and ive heard mixed things about them.
I would like to keep stock TBPS, and FIAV.
I've...
What is the best throttle body for my 2g?
I'm sick of boost leaks at shaft seals.
So please feel free to give me any advice you may have when choosing a TB.
I was going to get an s90 70mm or 74mm but will it hold 30-35 p.s.i.?
Also here is what its going on.
How big can you port the stock intake manifold for throttle body on a 2g?I'm thinking of getting an S90 74mm throttle body and I wanted to see if you guys and gals could shed some light on weather the S90 70mm or 74mm is better.I plan on getting an intake from MAGNUS or JM fab but ive been a...
Is there any forums I should read as far as rims that do fit ?
I was going to get NITTO NT555 G2 235/45r17 on a 17"×7.5" offset? +35?
Or 245/45r17 on a 17"×8" rims offset?
Or 255/40r17 on a 17"×8.5" rims offset?
NITTO didn't want us to have a 245/40r17 in the nt555g2 or I'd know what to do.lol...

245/45ZR17 99W XL -I like this one most
255/40ZR17 98W XL
Is it going to fit?3. My current or future...
Well I have wanted a 97 gsx, 95 Ts-i ever since I was 12 years old.
This was back in 2002.
I always thought the body was timeless.
The 4g63 engine was easy to learn how a piston motor works for me.
And I had at that time worked on a few v-8s with friends dads and stuff .
I think the first time I...
Now I'm just going to put it this way...
You get what you pay for most of the time with dsms.
I have seen people like me have a almost everything in a 2g break...
I got my 95 awd MT for 2k with 106k miles on it.
Here's my list of ishus...
All the wiring...previous owner did not know what he was...
Don't worry my car came back from worce.
Just some new parts, paint and maybe bending things back into place and you should be good.
My radiator and A.C. wer pushed into the exhaust manifold.
I had it fixed under my carport 72 hours later thanks to overnight shipping and lots of hard work.
Drive...
I haven't thought about this sence uuuummm... 2006-2008
Cool car.
I've always thought it would be cool to see it in person.
And if I had the time and money I'd do it to a 2g talon.
Fwd auto in frunt and fwd manual in the rear.
Also find a way to put M/T rear motor throttle cable on throttle...
I could have used power tools...
But there's something about saying I did it by hand that appeals to me.
Maybe I'm just crazy for spending 4 hours on this lol.
Thought I'd share what I did this morning.
I got a spark plug cover from extreme PSI.
I didn't like the brushed look.
Don"t get me wrong it looked good but I'm a bit picky.
So I hand sanded it with:
1st 500 grit dry then wet.
2nd 1000 grit dry then wet.
I know I should have found 700- 800 grit...
I got some aluminum shifter bushings from extreme psi for $14 and an extended clutch slave rod for $8, I thought they would match a price on the meagan racing short shifter but I should have just ordered from this company instead...
We have been fighting wiring ishus lately and it's stoping us from dyno tuneing the car.
I'm just hoping we can figure it out due to this car burning money like it's news paper in a bond fire.
I really wish I could afford a mill spec wiering harness from ohm-racing.
But with Christmas coming up...
Ok so I'm just wondering how much travel you have in the clutch pedal.
I have had lots of clutch brands fidanza, act, oem, comp clutch and never had an ishu.
I was driving the car for the first time last week and it seemed the clutch was disengaged at the floor. I've always had it disengage 1-2"...
Ok so any one know where I can get both frunt and rear.
I found the frunt but can't find rear in t3 sloted.
Also I'd like some input from 2g owners on Dba t2 as well as t3.
I need a cost efective sloted not drilled rotor.
Preferably non-directionala full slotted rotors...
It is for a street car...
It would depend on number of the cars in the U.S. a lot of things.
From my experience, I've seen the 1 g Plymouth laser go up price if it's A.W.D. with low miles and everything is perfect.
Last year there was one for 6k with A lot of people trying to out bid the next person.
It sold for 9.5k...
I also washed the talon...
And I'm sad to say it got so dirty.
the car befor waxxx job... I also wanted to add the clear timing cover needed cut to fit fuel lines. Not Shure if it was the fuel rail or lines that made it happen... It still looks great though
I can say I understand oil squirters can be a weak point and oil should stay on the bearings exact but if you have ever ran 600-800 h.p. and up on the streets for a long road trip you may see lots of heat that can wear piston pins and rings.
I don't like the way mitsubishi made and located...
I thought I'd give some input.
I don't really know what is being asked...
Let me explain...
I am wondering do you want to build a 1,000HP engine... As in long block could take it if later you wanted a biger injectors, turbo exct.
If so I understand...
I had my long block over built and that's...
