I believe both fans are supposed to be blowing away from the radiator. Air is coming in from the front of the radiator. Then fan should help pull this cool air through. If it's blowing towards the radiator, than you are restricting air flow. Air against air.
They will be ok. Mine look exactly look those. Those still move as they are supposed to. No clunking or noise and seals are still good. Make sure your CPS and sensor wheel didn't get damaged.
Bass sounds the best and full when it is reflected off of something. Those low end waves will shoot straight out into the air or top. Not much reflection there. If you can't face them to the back, my second choice would be down. Square subs actually move more air, but require a bigger box...
If the relays are clicking, check power at the door lock motors. Use a multimeter and see if the voltage goes up or down when hitting the door lock/unlock. Also, you can press and hold for a second to get a steady reading. Check the wires below and make sure the signal is getting there from...
Im sure a custom ported box will fit and will probably sound the best as well. Just be aware ported woofers require more airspace than sealed boxes. So, I would go with a killer 10 inch sub that is very efficient and uses most of the power it's getting. Have it mapped out so you maximize the...
I see. Not a bad car. I would probably do it. Check around those hoses. I see where some radiator fluid has leaked or sprayed in the picture. But I couldn't imagine this car needing anymore work than your truck. - CW
Your head gasket may be leaking internally. Sitting idle causes the car to heat up faster. DO NOT USE ANY STOP LEAKS OR LIQUID COPPER. Keep an eye on your car's temp. As anything a little high may take it over the edge. Make sure your timing belt is still in good condition. One tooth jump...
Test drive and visual inspection should take care of your questions. Make sure it is shifting properly and boosting smoothly. Make sure the steering isn't all over the road as well. It's a 99 expect some things not to work perfectly interior wise. Check the heat and the ac for sure. Inspect...
Infinity amps are tricky some time. Check with pac audio and see if they have a amp interface harness. otherwise use a amp bypass harness. this will give you power and speaker connections at the radio and usually a harness that allows you to disconnect the amp and connect those two harnesses...
That was going to be my first guess. If your seeing bubbling in the reservoir. Then, I would get a compression test. It could be 1 of two things. You drove the car too long while it was overheating or he drove your car to hard during testing, which is a great possibility. Man that sucks...
Make sure the spark plugs are giving good spark. Go back and check you timing and make sure everything is in time. go back over your vacuum hoses and make sure they are all good. also, clean your maf sensor.
I would replace the factory amp with a after market amp. You can find the wire colors that run to the speakers on th12volt.com. Use the factory harness and run rcas to your amp. This will give you great sound quality. Alpine has a very small 4 channel amp that will fit in the cavity behind...
Anyone in the Metro Atlanta area that can assist? I have 1998 Spyder GSt that's almost running need a good DSM mechanic or shop here locally. I live in Mableton. Thanks.
The injectors are easy. There are 2 hose on the right side and 1 hose on the left side. disconnect those hoses and grab a 12mm socket and loosen the three bolts. unplug the injectors plugs and pull the fuel rail up. It's easy. grab a towel to catch excess gas coming out.
Can anyone add which way the striker/trigger/sensor wheel goes on. I'm having this same issue, but it's possible I put the sensor wheel on backwards. Chilton manual didn't say which way to put it on. My voltage output signals reads from 0.4 - 4 volts. My car is firing. I have spark and...
