IC Piping and CleanupNow that the fans were out of the way, I could run my custom turbo down pipe over the sub frame. I ordered an ebay 2.5 " IC piping kit. The collection of 90/45 degree silicon fittings and straight pipes allowed me some trial and error room, but I really didn't need that...
Radiator Fan Shroud and Fan MountingMy previous custom down pipe came dangerously close to the ground, but in order to route it across the sub-frame, I had to make room and reposition the oem radiator fan.As you, can see there was almost no ground clearance with it in place like this and...
I'm doing this right now on my 2g. I had to get pusher fans and custom mount them in front of the radiator. But I only did this because my intercooler intake comes in on the passenger side and I like the one I have now. I'd recommend that setup anyways as its nice to have the engine bay real...
May not be relevant anymore, but I posted a fix to this exact problem on my build thread. http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/1999-gst-x-summer-convertible.480783/#post-153438051The actuator arm just needed to be extended a little bit to apply pressure on the release. Good luck.
What a clip!!Within 2 days, both my doors failed to unlatch, but was lucky enough to get in without a jimmy. So I opened up the door panel and sure enough the latching bar was unhinged from the handle. You can see here, the plastic half of the clip snapped off.
My spare Probe GT was...

Mr. Buschur seems to disagree that breaking in a motor is required at all. I guess I understand the logic behind it, but I'm inclined to agree with him, that engines do not need any extra care right off the bat. I would love to see empirical evidence that proves engine performance and...
Yes! Extremely helpful. Thank you so much. I feel much better about ordering it now. Did you need to order any of the brackets listed on that page as well?"So you're running the HTA86 with a sidemount intercooler? Hope it's not a stock one..."Hey, no, its aftermarket, not sure which one...
Just ordered this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/380706796488?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITHopefully, the silicon fittings can withstand my HTA86 outlet temps.Anyone help me out with that SPAL fan wring, bracket, and sensor requirements? Just need to know what to...
Ok, just saw this in another thread, seems slim enough, no?

Hi all, was wondering if there was a way to get more engine bay real estate by either slimmer fan shroud or a slimmer radiator that mounts under the front IC frame. I need to run my 2.5" IC tubing to my intercooler on the passenger side as right now its hanging down below the sub frame is...
Did you use the permanent primer? I've heard it doesn't come off that easily when done properly.
"with a coat of Plasti Dip Primer applied underneath, it gains a far stronger, nearly permanent grip."
i.e. for reference http://www.dippedcars.com/Plasti-Dip-Primer-p/prim.htmSorry, not fixated...
Not to hijack your thread, maybe it'll add insight, but if anyone has ever used PlastiDip with permanent primer on interior parts. Its supposed to be pretty durable with the permanent primer stuff.
