Hi everyone, can anyone give a thorough explanation on MAP sensor (or MDP sensor)?
There's OEM sensors but then there's also OMNI-POWER sensors with different rating. Can some one tell me what the difference is between them, and should I invest in one or just get an OEM sensor? Thanks
Where did you find a cat that sells for $200... I bought my magnaflow 3" hi floe cat for $65 bramfIt sounds like a quick fix because he wants a full exhaust in Spring anyways.. And I don't know where you find $200 cats, I bought my 3" hi flow magnaflow cat for $65 new... There not that...
Mods FTW!! Then paint... My car looks like crap, its solid though, just clear coat peeling and all, hood is different colored and spoiler too, BUT its pretty fast, I enjoy that more I suppose.. Get a good laugh when racing someone too! Like renovatdkitchen said, Macco will do a decent job for...
Don't know if it will protect, technically you need an air cushion between the intercooler and the mesh, so that the mesh gets impacted first, but having them together... basically it will get damaged either way (if big enough debris)
Looks interesting though, I wonder how it looks with bumper on.
Your yellow and green wire will connect to the stock MAF wire.
Find pin90 on your ECU, that's your MAF wire. Cut it (don't cut to close to the ECU, leave some slack)
-Connect the yellow wire to the wire that's going to the ECU.
-Connect your green wire to the other side of the wire that you cut...
Ye any cat will work, as long as everything lines up, but if it doesn't, then do some cutting, welding, fabricating and it will work. Im using a universal CAT myself.
I don't remember having a problem taking it off.. Do you have your support bumper off? I do remember taking some big plastic clip off to get to it I think, if I remember correctly.
Hey man, is your car 2gb?? I'm surprised the rears don't rub on 245. I have 225/45/18.. went 45's for the reason of a softer ride comfort, looks pretty good too I think, goes well with the huge fender arches. But I'm not running any spacers, and my wheel is flush with the fender, so your going...
Ye. Just don't go with cheap fans because your OEM fans emit way more air then those cheapo fans.. Buy some reputable ones if you want even more air.. Another thing I did to my DSM is connected the two fans together (that is if you kept your A/C fan). So every time my main fan turns it, my A/C...
Either your starter or battery. Make sure battery connections are tight. I'm sure you checked, its just that I had many situations like that, and usually it was just the battery terminal some what loose, or something dumb like that.
In all honesty, there isn't much he would of done different. Because the control arm snapped, its basically bottoming out, in order for him to pull it on his bed, he needs to grab from underneath, which in return will obviously snag on the bottom and basically bend or break things... But the...
Currently running on my 2gb.. 225/45/18
I can look up my rim offset, I believe its either 40 or 45
Thought I would share, so you may have some kind of benchmark
You do need AFPR, with a 255 pump it will over run the stock regulator and you will always burn rich. You will be cleaning your rear bumper from smoke build up.. If you were to put a 190, then your tock will be fine. Do it right the first time.
By the way I see it in your uploaded picture, seems like you have a bar and plate intercooler, they tend to block air flow that is supposed to get to your radiator. An alternative is to use tube and fin, better airflow, or install better fans. My $ 0.02
