While you have it hooked up like that you can open doors or turn things on to see how much current each one pulls and to gauge how long it takes the car to go to "sleep". Also the current needs to flow through the meter (positive lead on the cable, negative lead to the terminal).
Disconnect the negative battery terminal, set the meter to milliamps, one lead to the cable and the other to the terminal to complete the circuit, I use small vice grips for this. Make sure everything is turned off, doors and trunk are closed, and the keys are not in the ignition. This will give...
Your gonna need the arms too. The bolt actually seizes to the metal insert in the bushing of the arm. Your gonna burn through the arm and bushing. The rubber smells like shit when burning.
Cut them out with a torch, takes about 10 minutes a side if your proficient with a torch. The 3G eclipses are even worse, I get a lot of them that are seized in Ohio. Best thing you could do is get a set of arms off Paul (99gstracer). You will still have to cut the old ones out and get new bolts.
I'm clueless when it comes to the legality of boats and such. I don't doubt it could be illegal. I know for it to work you have to marinize (sp?) multiple parts of the engine. I think some older Oldsmobile engines are fairly common.
Use some dielectric grease on the wires too. I had a car at the shop that kept getting black buildup in the #1 wire at the coil. Ran like crap at WOT. Don't know if the wire wasn't sealing right or just had a bad spark but the guy said it would build up every few weeks. New coil and wires fixed...
I run 30psi with some spikes to about 33 on E85. I've had no problems with the non projected 8s (br8es) gapped at .014. I am using the stock ignition with the biggest wire Taylor offers for dsm's.
I don't know what pipes you have, but with my ETS I flipped the pipe around that goes to the TB elbow cut cut the bead off and shortened it an inch or 2 and re welded the bead on. Fits fine now. So maybe with enough moving around your existing stuff will work. But I think most people use the...
Also check the transmission mount and look at those sway bar bushings again. I replace them at work all the time. Theyll seem tight but there not when the weight of the car is on them.
I don't know anything about the shop building the car, but I know Brewster machine and fox lakes are legit. I may have to go check that one out for myself.
If it reads the scanner then power is not the problem. I always check that though it's crazy how often that fuse blows. I'd just try to re download everything off their site and go from there.
I had a similar issue last year, I ended up finding 1 of the plug wires had got moisture inside the connection @ the coil and caused a little rust, Causing misfires under wot. Sounded terrible ran like crap. Maybe check out the ignition.
Don't buy that kit it's a waste of money and the cable is stiff as hell. Go to this site knukonceptz.com for your cable and sonicelectronix.com for fuse, breakers and distribution blocks. I replaced the wires off the fuse box with new longer ones and ran them to a distribution block also.
Have you thought about meth injection? I run this turbo @26 psi on 93 and sometimes when it's a hot day I might get a little knock always under 1 degree though.
I'll attach a graph from today. The lower number was @26 psi the higher is e85 (tested75%) @30. We actually made a little...

I've done 2 5 speed swaps and have some of this stuff if your interested. Might need a few other odds and ends that I can't think of at the moment. I think the work is the easy...
A little high but fair for a walk in at a shop. A lot of cast aluminum welds look like crap. That one don't I think it was a fair price. Need a tig not a mig.
Alldatapro. I can get the wire colors you need tomorrow when I get to the shop. I actually pulled that flow chart from the starting/charging section under symptom diag. Skip down to the big box on the left and start with that one. You can check the resistance on the +/- cables too, but I like...
I just printed this off the all data site. You should be able to zoom in to see it better. This is the way Mitsu wants the alternator tested if you wanna try it there way to rule the alternator out.
Does the voltage go up if you turn on your accessories ( a/c, headlights etc.)? I'd also do a voltage drop across the cable and check the output at the alternator with a meter. I've ran through 3 aftermarket alternators in a row at work before. Napa ones seem to be the worst.
It just takes time. I looked for 2 years before I got my 99. I also just picked up a 95 gsx fully functional with 54k original miles in pa. No rust on the struts or rockers/wheel wells. Paid 1750 for it. Cars on sites like cars.com and autotrader usually seem to have higher prices. I check...
I don't know about the evo ecu but, I couldn't get ecuflash to work on my 99 black box. I have 2 that are in good working condition and neither would flash. Evoscan would log but flash wouldn't work. I was in contact with tactrix, emailed them my error logs they couldn't figure it out had me try...
I broke my southbend in by normal driving and I'd try to hit all of the side streets to hit the stop signs and red lights. I went about 7-800 miles for break in.
Its obviously not current. It's ok to disagree, everybody does things different. I do what works for me on my cars. I don't know what the big deal is? Check the plugs out of the box run them, gap them, whatever you want. Everything I suggest is something I've tried not something I've heard or...
My car makes 500 wheel horsepower on those ungapped plugs. My mustang does too. Everybody has there ways and opinions and that's ok. I prefer to keep the end of the plug even and not bend it. If I check a plug and it's off or not the same I take it to my parts department and get another one. We...
The spark will start to blow out. I'd stick with the 6's but get the ones without the protruding tip, they should be fine. I used 7's up to 29 psi then went to 8's.
I know people will probably disagree or say I'm wrong, but I don't gap my plugs I check them out of the box and as long as they are...
