I guess they were different turbos LOL... This is the one he meant to show me but the other I had posted before is a 7 blade so I would rather buy that one if it is real.
This is all I could get at the moment but he will be sending more over soon, I thought the housing looking very nicely machined was a red flag but I've seen a lot of others on here that look similarly machined and everyone says they are real.
I really didn't want to make another post about this and I couldnt find an answer by skimming through this so I will just ask. I will be new to owning a Holset turbo and just want to make sure I'll be good. I was using the pictures from the holset website on counterfeits but still can't tell. If...
I'm not gonna lie, this things is pretty bad ass!! I don't know if I would of ever guessed it was an Eagle Talon if I saw it on the street.https://www.ebay.com/itm/153135681985www.youtube.com/embed/jKYIYZjdH5I?rel=0
I'm in the market for an AWD Eagle Talon and was curious what you guys think one should sell for these days. I've seen a few with around 120XXX miles and a couple mods. Let's say its in good shape maybe needs a little paint(since I am not looking for a project). Let me know what you guys think.
When you say it was a ported, did the wastegate hole get ported? With Ebay turbos you have to port that hole to a decent size. There are plenty of posts to support what I am saying and even a video on youtube on how to do it. There are a lot of people running ebay turbos and do just fine because...
In my crew we've always been mods first and looks second haha. But I know what it's like to want a paint job but yet I still haven't done it a year later. I've just been getting faster!
I agree if you know the model try searching for an adaptor and If not maybe you could go to a hardware store and find some hose and clamps that would hopefully do the job.
Some people say painting it black helps keep it cooler so that would be a plus^^ I never understood how it worked though since black attracts sunlight.

yellow - 510cc - (evo 1-3)
pink - 560cc - (evo 7-9)I found this in some other post so it looks like you have 450cc injectors. What psi are you at? I was hitting fuel...
Link all the way! As for your question I say black box. I have a couple friends that have had good luck with it and they did the tune themselves. Plus there are many posts on here that can help you get started!
I would turn down the boost till you get a boost gauge man. Better safe than sorry. I had fuel cut around 15-16 psi with a 16g but that was because I had stock injectors. I don't think it is the same situation as you though since I never saw black smoke but just throwing that out there.
I am buying some denso 720s(used) and would like to know which o-ring kit to buy off of extremepsi, not sure if it makes a difference which ones I get they all look they same to me. I am asking because it is better to be safe then sorry.
This is the link I am looking at...
