Someone correct me if I'm mistaken but I believe the ball joint is purchased with the lower arm. The part number for the lower arm is MR162573 for the drivers side rear for awd models. The passenger rear is discontinued. (I believe). STM sold the arm for around 50 when I did mine. Good luck with...
Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it creates a 2.1 liter. Magnus tried it with a 6 bolt. When you do it though, the 4g64 block has a 6mm higher deck so you will have to look for a rod and piston combination that will work.
I think black gst was talking about the front subframe bushings. Not the rear. It would cause movement if they were deteriorated because the tranny mounts to the subframe.
Dynamo is one of the first "alternators" ever made. It was actually more of a generator like found on tractors and such. For all intents and purposes, your alternator is a "dynamo", although I wouldn't use that word anymore.
It would be an interesting swap but the fabrication and money required to fully build one is going to be ridiculous. Anything can be done with alot of money, but it's something you will never get full value for if you sell it. As for being made fun of, everybody gets shit for something. If you...
I would recommend an oem starter. They seem to last the longest in personal experience. Alternators and starters are two things I almost always buy oem.
Crankwalk seems a little extreme for a sticking clutch. Your clutch is a hydraulic system meaning there is no mechanicals linkage other than the pedals. You should look at the pedal bushings and shaft under the dash. Look for leaks around the master cylinder, slave cylinder, and the lines. Check...
The mass air flow sensor or MAF on these cars measures the incoming air to provide the appropriate fuel ratio. It could be a very common culprit to cause that. If you had a code for the O2 sensor I would definitely start there. These cars also have a barometric pressure sensor in the MAF too...
Inside that multifunction switch is all of the individual paths for the hazards and turn signals wire. If you look up a diagram of the switch l, it can explain better. And yes. The switch on the column.
That's sensor will cause your car not to sense air/fuel ratio right causing your car to run rough if it isn't reading correctly. I would recommend purchasing a sensor from a vendor to support the community instead of eBay.
Or is that collar part of something more? I dont know what it attaches too. I never have ripped my trannys apart. I've got lucky and all mine shift like butter
Its the collar right below the spline for the input shaft. I didn't know if I could just replace the collar or if I would have to source a whole shaft or tranny. And could it be welded?
I have a friend who has a 95 gst fwd. I had a piece of the tranny break. I am wondering if it can be replaced? Sorry for the crappy pic. Its the part below the teeth
If you want to improve handling check out some bracing options for under or inside the car. 2g's flex easily. Otherwise I would recommend checking out or upgrading your brakes. They are the most important part of the car. As for what to do next, check out the forums for an upgrade path. A lot of...
Stock internals would be pushing it with 500hp. If you have the engine apart, you might as well go forged because if you decide to go higher HP later, you dont have to rebuild again. Its just easier, more cost effective in the long run, and takes the same amount of time. The crank you can...
Window Trim. Good luck. That dissappeared a while ago. Trunk Hatch. Parts Car. Sunroof. You could probably get a motor. I dont think the whole assembly is still available.
O'Reillys does sell the key but you have to buy a set of lugs with it. (Its in a package together). They sell it like that so someone can't just go in and buy the tool and steal rims.
You should start with the search feature. I'm not trying to be a d*** but there is a ridiculous amount of info out there for our cars. 90% of problems have been answered at one time or another. Go to resources and start scrolling. By the end of the day, you're gonna wish you never jumped into...
Here from Central City. Been monitoring this page and its sad to see that's there is no dsms in Nebraska. I just grabbed my second DSM, a 95 GSX. Trying to gain some support here in the Midwest.
