Pulled the engine harness, fuse box harness and the dash. Got a good look at all the wiring and my new harnesses came in so will be working on it tomorrow!

I'm in Hickory, nc. 3 of my cousins and I all have dsms'. I only know of 2 others in the area.

Just thought I would update this even though it's been a couple years lol, I finally got the car on an hx35! I kept it on that setup for about a year then ended up parting her out sadly. I will be picking up another 2g awd dsm by the end of the month!

This is where i added the raw value to be captured

I believe i have set it up correctly added it to the ecu inputs tab and also added the raw value to be captured.

Like the title states, I just installed ECMLink v3 with an Omni 4 bar MAP and GM IAT sensor. I bought the ECMLink plug and play harness but when I do a capture it always says it cannot find the MAP sensor.

Update: got the front mount in along with injectors, afpr, and the gauges womt be long now

@Boostedmm17 @91talonts1 I was also in middl school in 08-09 lol i did have a 1ga gsx back then but never got to go to the carolinadsm meets. Such a shame that website went down.

Update: have the head off the car now for headgasket and arp L19 headstuds. Finishing up the balance shaft removal now as well!

Update: finally took some time off from the shop in order to work on my baby! Started tearing her down to get ready for timing belt and mods! Found out she had an eBay 16g on her...

@skatershawn just got lucky the guy originally $1800; but when I went to pick it up it had starting issues offered him $900 a drove it 6hrs home!

+1 on changing the thermostat and flushing the system

You could go with a south Bend clutch I hear they hold more than the act 2600 and about the same pedal feel of a 2100 correct me if I'm wrong

Agreed keeping my bolts and nuts bagged and labeled helped me alot the first time I removed my transmission

Hey guys I have someone local that is selling a percision turbo. That being said it has a v band connection for the downpipe is there anybody that sells an aftermarket v band downpipe for 1g's, or will I have to make my own?

I have a set of Megan coilovers on my 1g and so far no problems 5k and going strong

If I was in your position I would get a gsx just because I love awd cars I dd a 07 wrx yes I know don't give me crap lol and my weekend warrior is a 6/4 combo 92 talon

As sonicselli said it can be overwhelming but with some help it can be pretty easy only two things I will add is remove the shifter cables from the tranny. Also I have experience with the act 2100 I put it in my 1gb I got it with a street solid disk. I'd you don't mind a little chatter then go...

On the car 2g talon tsi wheels on the right 1gb talon wheels personally I love the the 1gb wheela
