what are you about 16 17? Anyway! stop whinin about a ticket, you knew the consiquences before you raced. And yes it is called freedom of speech. So it is not God given but US given.
Well a few things here. First I will not stop replying that makes no sense. You stated no FACT. Those are your opinions. Now fact is that I went 16,000miles on my so drag radials. I would say that is pretty good. Drag radials are nothing like slicks that must be another one of your facts...
Wow you got me there. Who gives a fukk about tread wear? If the tires you have suck get something better. THere is always some ass on these boards that has to try and degrade what someone has done, with worthless and minute details. Dude go find someone else to try and bag on.
It can and does happen. 1.863 60' on drag radials. stock driveline. And many many more 1.9's! Some people will never get it.Launching is not something you just go and on your first time at the track you nail.Mod Edit: Post edited due so personal attack on another member...
That is what I am saying. Military experience really has no bearing on becoming a cop. As far as getting in. You will probably have it easier in police basic training, because you are used to the routine. Dress, cleanliness and timelines. But it doesn't give you an edge as far as getting in...
Sorry too burst your bubble but you are utterly and completly wrong!
#1 being an MP has nothing to do with being a civilian cop.#2 Even if you are an MP you would still need to attend an academy or get a BLET from a college. So you will start just like anyone else.#3 To get into...
Congrats man on the times. The trap is sweet, and the Et's will come with some more practice. But it'll happen. On a side note. I just love how people still think 11's are just so common and easy to achieve! Damn internet racers.
Man I was just looking at getting one of those 2 weeks ago. They had a special going on for $6999! Yea man they were a thousand dollars off. That is just tits. That extra diplacement kicks some serious azz above 7000 rpms.
Wow! A whole lot of nothin in this thread. One thing I can tell you is that you DON'T want to run around town on a drained power rack. That is ###. And you will be working extremly hard to get things going. A manual rack is just that. And it is geared for such. I would try to get a 1.8 rack...
Well man sounds to me like you have all the answers you are looking for already! So don't feel the need to have someone on this board to agree with you so that you'll try this type of set-up. It's obvious no one here uses it. So stop asking quetions and build the car. Be the test dummy and blaze...
Well not to be a dick but you said it yourself. "You went to shift to 4th but hit 2nd instead" so maybe driving lessons are in order. As for the incedent, sorry to hear that but glad no one was hurt. That could cause some serious damage to flesh!
Those must be the new cam geas they have out now. lol. Anyway that is pretty nasty to say the least. There are more nice pics from that whole lot also.
There comes a point where too much timing has a little effect. But it allows you to lean out the motor or add more boost to bring timing down. You'll be able to make more power on a leaner car with let's say 19 degress timing then a car running rich and making 25 degress.
This here just proves how ignorant americans can be!
If you had any clue on what that car can do than I am sure you wouldn't have said that. But having said that, I am not a big fan off that particular cars appearence. But there are some mean azz cosworths out there. OThat is just one of...
What in the hell are you talking about? Please explain how in the world taking away fuel especially down 47% is ass rich?
Forget fuel trims they are useless for track runs.Post your slips. One with settings at the start and the last one with the leaned out tsetings. And as much info as...
No US marshall for you. Unless you are a disabled vet. The US marshals have closed all exams to civilians indefinetly. They only use a process call Operation Shining Star. It is for military people within 180 days of ETS or disabled vets can apply anytime. And that is just the tip of the...
while it is true that you suck at driving or racing. Don't be fooled by a certain type of vehicle. ANYTHING can be made fast. Example there is a Jeep cherokee that ran an 8.063 in the 1/8th here in charlotte. That's pretty fast. N2O can do some bad azz shit. although the motor might not last too...
The box has 2 wires going into it. But you don't ground a wire. When you put a bolt through the hole in the flange it grounds the unit. You can search area behind the manifold. Look around the the coil pack also it may be mounted on there. or check the firewall. I am not sure where it went from...
There is a small metal box with two wires coming out of it. It is goldish and is maybe an inch long and 3/8" high. There is a mitsu symbol on it and there is a niine digit number on it as well. I have no idea what the name of it is. But it MUST be grounded! there is a flange for a 10mm bolt to...
First let me say that I drive a FWD. so this may not apply to you awd guys. But anyway, I launch in second all the time. For 2 reasons.
1. my tranny doesn't like to 1-2 shift very well 100% of the time.
2. man pulling through second without that 1-2 shift is just exhilerating! The car just...
I'd say check all the tuning guides from various vendors and get an idea of what you need. Compile a list and go from there.BTW: what unit are you with at FT. Stewart. I was with Bco 3/7Infantry.

I am not sure but as far as I, and many others know. TMO is no longer around. So even if it is a pirated chip, so be it. There is no other options out there. When I bougt the TM logger I thought there would be updates and improvmetns in the future. While it is a great product it is lacking for...
First, good times. And it's pretty cool because there is so much more racing to be had this year for even more improvment. Congrats!
Second, I hit the exact same 60 a week ago also. I am also running a spool and slicks this year. And yes it bites big balls trying to turn with a spool and a...
I too thought of doing that very same thing. But I was concerned about putting dry ice into a sealed chamber. I thought the expansion of gases from the evaporation would casue the chamber to explode. I really have no clue if this would happen but that is what stopped me from doing this.
Also...
Yeah savannahs track is pretty shity. just imagine it when trying to launch a FWD car there. I went to savannah a bit but I think Hinesville raceway has a much better surface. Scored my first sub 2.0 there, on street tires. Never could do that at svannah.
No! the spacing on the tensioner arm is different. and it doesn't allow enough movement for it to work. It hits the water pump. You must use the 6 bolt timing parts.
The head does not need to be machined. But you will need 1G head studs and the bolt or stud holes in the head will have to be...
On RRE's site they say something to the sum of We don't think you have a race car so you don't need a puck. Something along those lines. Damn though a 4puck. What in the world were you thinking. seriously?
BTW: puck clutches need NO break in! Get your tranny built by one of the 3 or 4 shops...
The gasket is not cut for an O-ring. You have the head or the block cut for an O-ring and when sandwiched between the head and block the O-ring embeddes itself into the copper. Do not use that gasket unless you use an o-ring!
Kinda good to know that you are running decent times and the car isn't really up too par. As for the magnecore wires. I have heard of that happening a few times. Kinda strange that they cost so much and they just crap out on ya. I bought Jacobs wires because of those issues.
Seriously, the best thing you can do to make your FWD hook up is to learn how to drive better. Learn your car and it's usable power. You can do all the mods you want but if you cannot drive it doesn't matter. Practice, practice, practice! Making the more power isn't always the answer.
Let me get this straight. Because I, and others before me have used a bat to roll fenders that makes me ghetto? OK. But yet, you shop at autozone for your 2G. Who is it here again that is more ghetto? Hmm, how is that LED exhaust tip workin? LMAO.
after my CF disc went out I used an OEM disc and it lasted maybe 1000 miles. BUT I launched the shzt out of it. So take it with a grain of salt.
Currently I use a puck disc with my cf pp and it is sick.
That is why I put some things to think about if he was to chooses the puck route. I pulled a 1.8 in my fwd drive and on street tires. So you be the judge. Again. there are personal choices to do with whatever he decides.
A 6 puck is easily streetable. You just have to learn the engagement point, and distance. And contrary to what some have said in this thread, you can slip a puck clutch. Trust me. or not. It's really a personal choice but you won't know until you drive one. It is a bit different. Also just be...
