I was hoping nobody was going to say that. I just put $50 worth of trans fluid in it and I don't want to waste it. I am thinking that the end-nut might be loose, which could cause my problem.
The TOB is new. I replaced it when I had the transmission out. I know the master cyl needs replacing, but I didn't think that would cause my issue. I checked out the trans when I bought it and it seemed, good so I don't know if it's the intemediate shaft.
So, here's the story. My transmission was bad since I bought the car, but I drove it till the thing practically stopped driving. Anyway, I bought a used transmission and when I went to pick it up, I checked everything out and it seemed to shift fine etc. I swapped the transmissions and it doesnt...
Some of you may know that every Thursday at the sonic in chesterfield, there is a pretty big meet. There is usually a ton of people and cars, but we need a bigger DSM presence. As of now, I am the only DSMer that regularly comes. Most people start showing up between 7 and 8. Come check it out...
Since it is a 95, you better make sure that it was actually rebuilt. I hesitate the even use the dreaded c-word, but since he is selling it so cheap, be careful of crankwalk. Just sayin.
I don't know anything about dsm link, but I would HIGHLY recommend getting a mechanical boost gauge. Get a nice one, like hks, not some ebay one. Your stock boost gauge isn't very accurate, especially past 15ish. Good luck.
I think I have what you are talking about. I have tried it on the plastic on my jeep and it did a great job, but it didnt last very long. I havent tried it on a smoother, more soft plastic such as that on the window trim. Good Luck!
Your best bet is to diagnose what you have on the car already. If it cranks spray some starting fluid into the throttle body and if you are getting spark, it should start and run for a second or 2. If it does not fire, you have an issue getting spark and you need to check your plugs, wires, and...
I think I have the same/similar problem with my 1g. While moving at low rpms (2k-4k), I will hear a LOUD vibrating/grinding sound. If I push the clutch in AND put it in neutral AND come to a complete stop, it will still do it for a couple of seconds, then just stop. Because of this, I'm thinking...
Hello. This is my first post on here and I was wondering whether or not I should buy this 1993 Eagle Talon. It is an AWD 2.0 turbo with a 5-speed manual. It has 116k on the od.
My cousin is selling his talon for $400. Now $400 may seem incredible, BUT is has some issues:
-Doesn't run. It...
