My friends vr4 just started getting a clunking noise turning either way. Axles.tie rod ends. carrier bearings Sway bar links. Struts. Ball joints all new. Wheel bearings are good. Clunk noise will still be there when you come out of a turn and go straight then it will go away. Sometimes does...
i have a 91 eclipse gs that im parting out. its been sitting for awhile. it has right front damage. if your interested in any parts give me a text, 908-763-8876 i can send pics that way. thank you guys
the starter plate should only mount one way (really cant mess that up) check all of your connections to starter and from it. check connections at battery too
yes... i used to work at advance and believe me when i tell you the reman stuff they sold was garbage. had it come back more than anything else sold in the storedid your headlights and windows stop working after you replaced starter?
is the starter you put in have a good ground? for the windows and headlights maybe you blew a fuse? also did you buy a reman starter or new? remans are junk may take you a fem starters til you get a good one if you bought a reman
I'm with Chris on this one. Just another untrustworthy scumbag preying on people to take their cash. Can be go.back at the guy for taking him for a ride on the same problem over and over or is that just for new cars with the lemon law?
Itd be nice to get an awd turbo model but then I think it'd be something else to go wrong. Between these cars and the probes they're getting harder and harder to come by
i have a 91 eclipse that has been sitting for a couple years now. it is a non turbo 4 cyl 5 speed, hit a deer, front bumper needs replaced, hood too, headlight on passenger side. also the brakes look rusted and i dont know if the lines are shot or not. is it worth puttung the money into to fix...
2inches you shouldnt need a camber kit... my buddy lowered his car and had the shop adjust it for more positive camber?? if i remember right for better tire wear. dont hold me to it tho
x2 on wrong axle lol. switch it out. if it still persists the only other thing that is rotating is the wheel bearing... minus the wheel of coarse:thumb:
Pull the drain plug and check too see if there's any metal pieces on the plug or in the fluid. Small metal Shavings will be normal. X2 on throwout bearing. Maybe either synchros too?
Depending on what shop you take it to it could be close to $500. I have a ford probe as well lowered on sport springs and stagg struts and for the price you can't beat them. I also thought they were gonna be shitty but they actually turned out to work nicely
