http://www.electricsupercharger.com/Anyone used this? They claim 5-15 HP gains...even on an already compressed intake system. 1-3 pounds of boost from an electric fan for $300. Let's hear it, anyone got one, anyone got pics? Howabout dyno test scores? The ones on the web site look...
Wow...sux to be yall. I regret spending $3500 on a monster stereo and leaving the faceplate on one night. Yoink! It's gone. :cry:Now I'm tooling around with a Sony xplod cd player and a bazooka. :shhh:Other than tha, I've only done the free mods...by that I mean I took the air...
Well then, I guess I'll bel re-posting when I find out ;) BTW, my speaker's surrounds are totally gone...the cone is just floating in the basket. I guess I'll be replacing them. (The speakers, not the surrounds.)
Ok, I have the standard factory radio...with the premium unit plug right in? After having $2000 in equipment stolen, I think it's time to go back to the basics. so, if I get the model with the amp/tape/cd/radio...will my existing wiring harness work?
Someone, please help me. The ECU beeps 9 times when I turn the key, put it won't start. It sounds like the starter is poping out, but not turning. It drains the system power like it is starting...I'm lost.
Well it happened. I went inside to eat l;unch earlier today, and I watched a movie. It that two hour period, some pricks made off with my stereo...The head and the subs and the amps. All they left me was a busted up console and the XM tuner. I pulled the battery to remove the XM and clean up...
Well, they already charge too much for their mid level audio products...but that wasn't enough. Oh no, not nearly enough. Now there's an insert where they sell APC (and Super Street) "Custom Car Accessories" Such cool things as exhaust tips with LED's in them...I bet that'll last a long time...
First, specify. Are the amps 2Ch, 500W RMS at 4Ohms bridged...1Ch, 500W...4 or 2 Ohms? How about the subs? DVC, SVC, 2, 4, 8, 12 Ohms?Let's see, three high current 500W RMS amps in a 1st Gen Talon...You gettin a new alt? 'Cause the factory electrical system sure can't handle that kind...
There it is AGAIN! Jeeze, usually I don't bash people, but Rick...it's DUDE. dood just looks bad, and that's like the third time I've seen it.As for the steering wheel, Straighten the wheels, the center cap (with the talon emblem) pops off and you can take the steering wheel off...
Can ya spin the fan yerself? Try unplugging it and connect it directly to the battery, it's a 12Volt fan motor and it should run fine like that. If it's hanging, you'r motor's brushes are probably shot. Time for a new one.
I notice a difference with my Cap installed. It punches harder when the beat picks up. As for the warranty stuff, If you have a recipt, the manufacturer MUST honor the warranty. The "Authorized Reseller" clause is not a legal bind. Make sure the eBayer send's you one, and include the serial...
I never apologize...and I'm fairly evil in regards to punishing lawbreakers. I've had my stereo stolen, then my truck was taken. If I ever catch someone breaking into my property again, the Judge will only hear one side of the story. Did you go to jail when you were a kid? Did you return the...
Not bad at all. I love my Headunit...It's definately a green light. I don't like the rockford stuff personally...but that's my prefrence, I like Kenwood's amps and JL's subs.
You have a couple of choices. First, do you use RCA's for amp signals? If you're using Head Unit Power from both units to power speakers, You can simply splice them together, making sure you use a diode on each of the output lines from both head units to keep power flowing one direction...
Ok, eclipx...I don't need a leasson from you, I know what they are made of. More importantly I know what I can hear. With my current HU my stock speakers sound great. I can live with them, because they are clean and clear, all thanks to the x-over. I've had many different component sets...
Actually, my car doesn't have a FOB available for it. It does have power locks, but not remote. I don't think there was a remote entry available for the 1990's...but I wasn't in the market back then. I just know that my alarm does not have the remote, nor the ability to use one.
BS they're slow. A good 2G NT will save you a load of cash on your insurance. Use that extra $1000 a year you'll save to help buy an aftermarket Turbo. And the NT is still a great car, HP to Weight. Make sure you get a 5-speed.
Nah, I got some fairly good looking rotors from a junkyard for $5 each and had them turned. Put them on at my leisure a few weeks later. Don't forget to bleed th brakes! Gotta get that air out of there.
Oh yeah, well I got a direct port nitrous injection and a cold air intake and a nos fogger system and a timing advance kit and six electric superchargers and I cut the exhaust off from the cat back...Plus I got some Japanese letters on my back bumper near the the GTR emblem, beside my Vtec...
ALOT. It's a massive undertaking. I did this on a 1969 H/O 442, from the stock 4-speed, dual gate auto to a stronger (Though still Hurst) 4-speed manual. It took me about 2 weeks to get it all ironed out, and I didn't have a computer to deal with. It's not for a weekend warrior, either learn...
Your sensor may be disconnected or malfunctioning. My 300XZ blew the top of the radiator a few years ago and I had it replaced by a local shop. later, when I had the car back in a Nissan house they insisted that my radiator was bad, they were saying it had a pressure leak. It took me 30...
Gotta sneak it in again...the tirangle Bazooka subs are plenty loud and rather small. They sound wonderful and will rattle your mirrors with 150w. I know...no one wants a bazooka, but I have to amit, they got this sub right.
Gotta agree. The diference in the amount of road noise that the dynamat blocks is amazing. Also, you'll notice that the tonal quality wil change dramatically, much less vibration in the body panels.
^^^Dynomat^^^Probably the best thing you can do for your ears. When you lower the amount of road noise you lower your radio's listening level. That leaves more headroom for your amps and longer hearing for idiots like me that like to crank the music up.
Can you backtrack off the old stereo's harness? on aftermarket systems white, grey, green, and purple are all speakers. Red and Yellow are power and black is ground. That's fairly universal, so if you backtrack off the old wires and reconnect your new wires...when I get home I can crack my...
If it's all in the install then why are you posting in a Top 5 Subs question? I don't want to get into a debate about it. I do not like them. period. They did not, nor will they ever make my list of recommended subs.
