Still doesn't mean you ecm isn't bad do y9u have any local dsmers that will allow you to swap in a know working ecu and see if that helps. If not you can rule that out. I would slap in a new ect sensor and see what happens there pretty cheap
Bad base ignition timing? Something to at least look look at. I do belive base idle is 5 degrees before top dead sensor. Could be a ecu issue? Blow capacitors in the ecu posibbly. I would just start by testing sensors that control fuel delivery

Wow some weird suggestions here pull the trouble codes as others have said most likely you ripe a wire or something came loose. As for your release valve. You NEED to pipe it back to intake pipe you can cause a lot of issues with that un metered air= very bad as dsmspick had stated above

Just replace the timing belt and bs belt. It's not worth the headache if that thing snaps on you. Do all the pullys and hydro tensioner and use all oem parts, timing isn't something to skimp out on.

ok I have what I belive are fp regrind cams but I'm not sure. I can't find any info on this cam. Comp cam # is 101-301-8i and under that is what I think is a regrind # ur0424-06 any help would be great I can't upload pics but if you pm a cell number I will happily send pics of the cams
But yes you drill stripped threads then tap with the supplied tap, make sure you use a cutting oil can be picked up at most tool stores. Then insert heilcoil into threads you cut and bend the little assit tab on the ccoil inward. There you have a repairs thread, now pit your turbo on and go boosting
I had the same problem. Lucily I only had one that was stripped. I helicoiled it and only tourque it to 35lb instead of the 47lb spec. Its been three months and seems fine. Just recheck tourque specs on the 4 bolts after a few heat cycles
I had a front caliper last month on my 2g do something like that it shook the whole car around anything above 20. Turned out caliper piston was seized. Just somethng for you to look at.
check for thrust endplay when you pull trannsmission. Pull plugs check there condition for normal burn. Do ALL mantanace, such as timing belt bs shaft belt, put a decent clutch in, it may not go into gear because bad clutch pedal assbly adjustment.

she was all stock i wanted to see what happened at 15psi ha i pulled 1-3 then i looked in the rearview to see multicoolered smoke following me motor had 210k on it so i didnt care. you gotta be real careful on stock internals it dont take much to blow a rod apart in these things
i once had a boosted 420a there alot of fun and ALOT of work wennt 2 years on 8psi daily then kaboom so i built another motor and shes back to n/a but i was able to get 158 at the wheel out of it on all motor setup which aint half bad
