trying to do this now cause it seems to be the only way to do brembos on the back of a 1g is with a hydraulic ebrake, did you ever finish figuring this out?
they most likely built it with the best parts of both, as far as the gauge issues, it's either the fuse or the actual gauge, i doubt its the wiring, but all is easily fixable, do you have some tools? if you havent worked on cars might want to enlist help from a mechanic to do the actual work...

Just finished installing a Clifford 590.2x or same as viper 5902. The alarm works but the trunk trigger is constant and the tail light relay under the hood is goin crazy, had to pull it. So any thoughts?
