Who do you guys recommend I send in a head to for o-ringing service?I plan on running a composite hg so I know SS o-rings are best with a protrusion of .013.Thanks
It bleeds down slowly like it should. I haven't checked exactly how long it lasts for but definitely a while. The car starts a lot faster after sitting overnight. Overall, I'm very happy with the new regulator.
Well, I ended up changing this POS out for an Aeromotive A1000 fpr and low and behold, fuel pressure no longer bleeds down to zero when I shut the car off! :rocks:
I'm not sure, it's a Walbro 255. A buddy of mine has the same fuel pump and a fuel lab afpr and his pressure does not bleed down immediately like mine does.
I opened up my Aeromotive AFPR today and found something interesting. The seat where the ball sits seems to be defective. Would this defect cause the fuel pressure to bleed down immediately after shutting off the car and/or present problems in fuel delivery under boost? Thanks
Who cares how long it has been? The motor has 0 miles and it's junk when it was advertised as being in perfect condition. Unacceptable plain and simple.
"This is a big no-no as most OEM oil recommendations are based on how the engine left the factory. When you increase the HP, RPM's and turn up the boost, the thin oils don't hold up to the stress and heat"
If you don't have a place to work on your car then you can't buy a "project" car. I would buy a running dsm and slowly mod it while keeping it a daily driver just to get familiar with the car until you have the money and garage space to buy another car and tear into the dsm.
