So I spoke too soon saying she starts great now. She occasionally starts great now. I cut the plug out and bought 1/4 inch spade connectors and wired it like that but it's still an every once in a while, it starts perfect
So, I've replaced the dipstick and cts. My car starts great now. I haven't taken her for a drive yet but I'm feeling optimistic. I did a Compression test and it's low but even. 130 psi straight across, give or take 1-2lbs.

I found silicone on the guard so I'm assuming the previous owner had this problem before. The way I see it, I have 3 options
1. Cut it off
