UPDATE 10/26/2018
Went for a little night cruise and took some pictures in a nicely lit parking garage. iPhone pictures...:boring: Wish I had a better camera. :ohdamn:
UPDATE 10/9/2018
I haven't done a whole lot to the Eclipse the past few months... But, ever since I've owned the car my rear bumper never sat flush with the quarter panels so I took it off, and refit it. What a job that is... -_- LOL I also installed a black non-powered antenna, a sunroof...
I'm running LED headlights on my 99 GSX. The covers fit back on, but I still modified them to let some "cool" air in. I remember reading the LED's can overheat (that's what the fan is for)especially in a sealed housing. The led bulbs themselves have an o-ring to "seal" the inside housing.
The eBay brand Sickspeed makes these too if you are looking for something more affordable. I have the black ones. No fitment problems and look better than the stock ones.https://www.sickspeed.com/products?keyword=radiator%20bracket&mainc=
UPDATE 7/5/2018
Feal 441 coil-overs and RM Racing sway bars are now installed! The car has never driven so well! WOW! What a difference. I also took some pictures of the Eclipse with my Jeep (before the coil-over install).
I should have said OEM "looking" floor mats. There's a guy in Brazil that makes them for our cars. They are about $100 shipped (set of 4). Definitely worth it for some black "Eclipse" embroidered mats.

OEM black floormats and the OEM leather shift-knob would complete that gorgeous interior! :D Also new brake/clutch pedal pads! Haha! That's just my OCD kicking in. The car is looking great man! Keep up the good work.
UPDATE 5/5/2018
Lets update this again!! Today I installed the eBay front lip. I like it. We'll see how long it lasts on there though, especially once I install the coilovers. I also finally installed the DCP brake and clutch fluid reservoirs that I ordered a long time ago. They go great with...
UPDATE 5/4/2018
I painted a few engine bay items (coolant reservoir, brake/clutch fluid caps, oil dipstick handle, and the underhood insulator clips). I also cleaned the underside of the hood, and installed a BRAND NEW insulator! Looks great! My coilovers arrived so I'll need to make some time...
UPDATE 4/29/2018
So I removed the exhaust manifold to install a coated FP manifold and heatshield and halfway through having everything off, I decided to order a Megan Racing O2 housing to compliment the downpipe and manifold. Probably overkill for the T25, but I'm not planning on upgrading at...
Yeah, luckily mine has spent its whole life on the salt-free west coast! I also follow you on Instagram, I have a white Jeep also! lol JEEP/Mitsubishi combo for the win!
I was super happy to find a set! The ones I found were silver, but I got them painted. They bolt on and plug in just like the stock mirrors. They aren't power folding though, you have to manually do it.Thanks!! The mirrors are definitely bulkier, but the folding is what sold me on them. I...
UPDATE 3/14/2018
Here is a long overdue update! This will be covering everything since I last updated this thread. First off, I got the center taillight paint-matched and also bought some Euro/EDM folding side mirrors which had to be painted. I then had a pretty bad scare with the car. I was...
Thank you!! I'm gonna be updating this thread very soon. As for the OEM parts, I've used JNZ-Tuning, ExtremePSI, and even eBay sometimes. Thanks! I was very picky when looking for this car. It HAD to have the BLACK leather! I'm guessing it was an option when buying new? But who knows :idontknow:.
As stated above, our best bet is to store the stock downpipe/cat and throw it back on for SMOG day. I recently wanted to upgrade my downpipe but still decided to keep a CAT on it. I didn't want to spend a lot on the CAT because any SMOG legal cat for our cars is still only 2.25-2.5". (I wanted a...
To update this thread...My bumper now has a burn mark which sucks...anybody experience this? I'm not too upset because I need to repaint or replace the bumper anyway, but then I'll have to look into a protective coating in that area to prevent this.
I went to several different shops and they all did the "Can't because of copyright". But just ordered some online. Thanks for the input!Awesome! Just ordered a few things. Thanks for the link!

Hey everyone!I would like some input on this setup for my GSX:
https://groundcontrolstore.com/collections/eclipse/products/1995-1999-mitsubishi-eclipse-eagle-talon-ground-control-koni-complete-suspension-kitThe car is only street driven (with occasional backroad cruising) so I'm looking for...
Front mount definitely would be the way to go and I agree not paying for mods twice. I just don't think I will be upgrading turbo's anytime soon. I'm in California with SMOG and don't feel like dealing with that at the moment. I just was hoping to upgrade the stock restrictive IC piping with...
I have the stock T25 turbo still and just plan on upgrading the side-mount intercooler piping for now. Someday I will go front mount, but not with the T25.
So I'm wanting to get this kit:http://www.punishment-racing.com/sidemount-intercooler-pipe-kit-for-stock-turbo-1995-99-eclipse-talon/Which is all over eBay, Amazon, ect...The problem is that I want black couplings rather than the blue and I've tried contacting the sellers and nobody is...
UPDATE 6/3/2017
FINALLY, got around to changing the transmission, transfer case, and rear differential fluids. I have had the Redline fluid sitting in my garage for about a year...:p
Anyway, the transmission got 1 quart of Redline MTL and the rest Redline MT-90. The transfer case and rear...
UPDATE 5/29/2017
I have done a few things in the past several months that I need to update here. First off, I did an oil change on the car. Next I wanted to upgrade the stock stereo with a new Alpine double-din unit. I ended up going with the Alpine CDE-W265BT and I'm very happy with it. I then...
I remember having trouble with mine and it pretty much was the bulb socket/wiring that just had a bad connection. I'd try having the pedal pressed while you wiggle the wires, push the bulb in more ect...just gotta find the "sweet spot". I ended up getting it fixed, but deleted the whole third...
Hey everyone,I just made a "How-To" video on installing interior LED's in a 2G Eclipse/Talon. Keep in mind this is for the sunroof models that have lights in the rear view mirror. Let me know what you guys think, or have any questions. This only covers the "courtesy lights", not the...
Here's a kit for all the fasteners for the cowl:

Alright, so I installed the camber kit, and got an alignment. Drives great! The best it's been since I bought the car. Thanks everybody for the help! I'm very pleased with the results.
Thank you for the pics! I appreciate it. Couple questions, have they ever come loose on you? I read around on the forum of them doing that. Also wondering which part of it faces the upper ball joint and what part faces toward engine bay. (I don't want to install backwards ROFL).
I will definitely update when I install them :thumb:Yeah that's why I was a bit hesitant on which kit to buy, but I ended up ordering the +1.25* to +3.00* on Amazon for $63 so not too bad. I would definitely like to see the pictures when you get a chance. Thanks!
Thanks again for the info.Just wondering what Ingalls kit I need to order??...I found the kit that was linked earlier on summit racing for a better price.
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/iec-35780
This kit is for +1.25 to +3.00EDIT: Found on Amazon and PRIME so even better. Setting it to...
Camber: I want to get as close to middle spec range as possible. As far as correcting caster with those, I'm not familiar with these kits or others so I don't know. Hopefully someone can chime in about that.
But as far as "fixing the car", if the camber is corrected on the RF and the car now...
Thanks for the help everyone. I'm gonna try out the Ingalls kit, and from the looks of it I should get the *+1.25 to +3.0* correct? I do have plans of lowering the car in the future, so I guess I'll have to order another kit for the left side in the future to correct the camber, but for now I...
UPDATE
It's been awhile and I still have this problem. I was just trying to live with it, but it's getting annoying now. Anyway, I just replaced ALL front control arms/ball joints (all 6). AND got another alignment. Still pulls/drifts left. I'll attach my alignment sheet below, but it did...
UPDATE 2/26/2017
It's been awhile since I updated this, so I will mention everything I've done to the car since the last update. First off, the Eclipse gets to be in the garage so I wanted to get a light cover for it to keep the dust off. Found a cheap $25 cover at Costco and it fits like a...
Just from a quick search on here, I found these links:http://www.2gnt.com/www/files/reardisk.htmhttp://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/rear-brake-conversion-from-drum-to-disc.268914/
If somebody cracked the valve cover in the process of stripping the bolts then maybe so. I'd clean it, replace the cap (pretty cheap) and see if it continues to leak.
