I agree... looks a whole lot better than the orange.Another way going about this is going vinyl:

Yes... but like what others posted: tire size is key.Evo 8 Enkei's are 17x8 35mm offset and fit fine on a 2g - http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/max-tire-size-on-evo-viii-wheels.414297/Given that the widths the same and you're pushed in by 5mm, everything should clear OK with the right tire size.
I'm in the same boat... started a couple years ago; have the car currently stripped and engine bay empty. The wife and I are just about settled in a new home and the itch to get working on the car is starting up again. Another good piece of help is the 2g bolt/nut/fastener list, but I think...
Not my taste, but do what you want... it's your car and money.
IMO, the choice combination of front, skirts, and rear make it too busy and doesn't flow well.
Nice work! This was exactly what I planned on doing with my car too. Just out of curiosity, do you have a manual release button hidden else where just in case the battery runs out... or do you plan on climbing in through the trunk?
Here's a link with the bolt guide... it doesn't have the numbers you were talking about, but it provides sizing and strength of every bolt

Don't get me wrong, I have Tein Basis on an 05 TSX, and before that I has Tein H.Techs (.7" drop all around) on stock shocks. For the TSX, the coils do their job and very comfortable... but it's not going to win any auto-x events.Historically, I've ran Tein S.Techs w/ Tokico Blue (HP) on an...
Harshness/Stiffness of the springs can be determined by the spring rate. If HR springs are too stiff, I'd recommend going for a softer spring rate. I wrote something about it here: http://revvedallusion.com/2014/03/suspension-talk-part-1-springs/Additionally, people on other forums have said...
to properly ensure wheels can be used on your car, 3 things must line up:1. The hub bore is larger than yours (if the bore is smaller, it will not sit flush on the hub when bolted in)
2. The Offset and wheel width is OK(if incorrect the wheel may sit too far out of the wheel well, and/or sit...
Sorry to hear about your problems... what do you mean by, "misunderstood what the system capabilities were"? I'm somewhat on the same boat, (P0300), but have a completely rebuilt and stock 4g63 (95 talon). I was thinking to using the DSMLink also if all else fails. Doesn't DSMLink have the...
Yup... just burning off some of the cleaning agent used. Nothing to worry about really. Youtube "seafoam" and see the amount of white smoke coming out of those cars, lol
for the door locks, you could also install aftermarket power door locks instead of going to a keysmith or installing new locks... Check out this post with what they did.

I've done this before also on another car... works like a charm. I also rattle canned it to match the color of the car too, lol. You can pick up the plugs at any automotive store... look around the snap and plastic locks sections
youtube some vids also...Be sure to SLOWLY pour (or suck in) the stuff through a vacuum hose and be ready for plenty of smoke to come out of the tail pipe.
Here's the link to the "upgrade paths" to reach your goal... tuning will play the biggest part in reaching 700...Enjoy the read: Tech Guide: 2G 4G63t Upgrades - DSMtuners
A good wheel shop can do a lot for any wheel. They can shave off a bit of the inner hub (adjusting offset), bore out the center hub (i.e. fitting another manufacture's wheel with a smaller hub bore), widen the wheel (seen it done a lot with steelies), drill new holes, and the typical repair...
Check out this site Car Audio Stereo - Car Subwoofers - Car Amplifiers and SpeakersThey sometimes sell last year's model for a better deal. Like most people are saying, $300 will be just the tip of the audio build, but I understand where you are coming from. I've built systems for $500 that...

If you're rebuilding on a budget, check out RockAuto.com. I used them for piston rings and gasket kit.So far, I've used ExtremePSI, JNZtuning, and just recently STM. I can say PSI and JNZ are quick to deliver... I'm waiting for parts from STM at the moment.Ebay - Use with caution and do...
Just an intro about myself to help get past that "probationary member" stage. lol. This is my first DSM and first AWD car. A good friend sold me the car, extra motor, and parts for a really good price and decided to jump on the project. I've dabbled with a turbo'ed 01 Toyota MR2 for about a...
