Ok, I think we are in business. The WB is almost dead on to the log now, just need to make it perfect. As for the Idle tuning, i am having trouble getting LTFT mid and LTFT lo to sit at 0%.
Would it be easier to use the deadtime and global adjustment method, rather than using the sliders...
Yes, it is on p4 at the moment, i will change it to p0, and post a new logAs for the Fuel pressure, should the gauge read 43 with or without the vacuum line attached? Right now its around 37 with and 43 without.I am in the process of tuning the idle/cruise as we speak, i will post a new...
Yea i have been looking at those threads, and using them for reference. I am just so new at this, trying to learn the software is a little tricky. As for the fuel sliders, I just installed 900cc injectors last night, and i was having trouble idling using the calculator in link( supposed to be...
This is my first log after a few hours of tuning.I need to take away some timing to reduce knock, but other than that i think i am looking decent. My only problem is the wideband, i cant get it to read correctly, no matter what i do.I have watch all the videos, and followed step by...
So i just installed some 900cc HI FIC injectors and i am having trouble dialing them in.I used the chart on ecmlink website and set deadtime to 330, and changed global to -50. When i do this, it runs extremely rough, and wideband pegs lean, so i changed the setting back to stock, and idle...
It was a new one, but i wouldn't be surprised if it was bad too, but overcharging is not typically what happens when an alternator goes out, at least in my experiences.
ROFL yea i agree, however i did get the alternator from napa and it was $140:cry::cry:. If i have to take it off again i am gonna cry, i have to pull my intercooler pipes and radiator just to get to it...I hope there is a simple solution.
Battery is only a few months old, It is leaking a little bit, however i was told it was just venting. There is some residue coming out of the caps.It is sitting at 12.9 volts with the car off.i just checked the fluid and it is full.
So I noticed my volt gauge was reading 19 volts, the battery and break light also came one. Shortly after, i started overheating, realized the fans were not turning on unless the A/C was on.Tested with my multimeter, was charging a little over 18v.So i replaced the alternator, tuned it...
Awesome, thank you.Does the old chip just pop out? Also, is there any soldering required to put the dsmlink chip in the socket, or does it just sit in there?
I just got a socketed eprom ecu from CL, however it appears to have the stock chip in it.In order to install DSMlink, would i still have to send it out ecmtuning? Or can i just order the DSMlink kit and put the chip in myself?ThanksHere are some pics[/IMG][/IMG]
You probably have some boots leaks that are not bad enough to cause driveability issues. I am guessing toy TB shaft seals might be a major factor in this. 100% of my DSMs have had boost leaks coming from my shaft seals.
Sounds like boost leak, You may want to do a more thorough test.It could also be too much fuel, I bet your injectors are bigger than the stock 450s. What are you tuning with?
Cmon guys, seriously, this is considered cyber bullying. I am willing to bet the majority of you guys would not act like this if you were standing face to face. We should be promoting a positive environment here for all DSM enthusiasts to come and learn, not bashing people because they are...
I am having trouble figuring out how to connect the wastegate linkage arm to the actuator. I have the Actuator sitting on the arm, i just can't lock it in with a pin. The arm is different than others it seems, there is no hole to slide a pin through, just a indentation going all the way around...
Wow guys, I have been DDing my DSM for since 2008. I have never been stranded, or had to walk anywhere. The only time my car is down, is when i am installing new goodies or doing routine maintenance. You guys make it seem like dsm's are unreliable, when my experiences have proven otherwise(5th...
Is it possible to cut the flange on a Megan downpipe in order to bolt it up to a EvoIII housing? It looks like if i can cut one of the holes in the flange to be a slot, it will slide right on.Any thought on this?I really don't want to spend close to $300 for a RRE downpipe if i don't...
