Maybe your throw out bearing is starting to go. Mine rattles so bad I can't stand it. It usually goes away once she gets warmed up. unfortunately the only way to replace it is to pull the whole transmission out. Maybe i'll save up to have the transmission rebuilt & do it tben. Hope that helps.

I know this was from years ago & I'm hoping this guy didn't know anything about our engines at the time. If he had, he'd know that putting on a set of underdrives bullies would in no way affect how the motor is kept cool, the water pump is turned by the timing belt, not an external accessory...

If your CEL is always going to be on & it bothers you that much, you should pull the gauges out & remove the bulb out.
