I have a 1996 Eclipse gst with a 6bolt block with a 2g head and EvoIII 16g. Any advice what my next performance part/parts should be? My goal is 400hp - 500hp. I'm not sure what would make my horsepower goal reachable and most effective. Thanks, James :)

Is a cooling system possible with a 5spd or good idea?

Does a 4g63 5 Speed Transmission come stock with radiator for cooling the transmission? When I removed my Transmission I did not notice coolant lines anywhere. :confused:

My friend installed a 6bolt swap and 16g into my 96 Eclipse. It runs and drives good. BUT I looked over everything and noticed It didn't have a main girdle. Problem? :confused::ohdamn:

Sounds like an engine compression problem. I would do a compression test. They sell tools to check.

I have a 96 2g GST with a 6bolt swap and 5speed. Will an awd m/t starter plate fit a fwd m/t? I ordered it already. So if different can I modify it to work?

Will a driver side lower control arm work for a passenger side lower control arm replacement? Does it matter or does it have to be a passenger side control arm for Passenger control arm?

Sounds like the flywheel teeth are grind down. I'd pull the starter and see if it is engaging right and check the flywheel. Hope this helps

UPDATE!!! ok.. I beat the hell out of it with a huge hammer. I let WD40 soak for a few hours and then went to town on it with the hammer. I used my jack to lift it to take pressure off the bolt and HAMMER! I tried to turn it but not budging.. I EVEN YELLED AT IT! lol Nothing has worked so far :(...

I'm hoping i can get it resolved in the morning and i'll update my results! But future reference.. Is there ways to prevent this from happening?! :banghead:

I found the problem. The Connecting rod bearing cap was in my oil pan. My friend done a horrible job rebuilding it. I order new Connecting rod bolts and nuts (they were bent) today and will be here Tuesday. Everything else looks good but I'm going to torque everything to spec Tuesday. I also set...
