Sounds like you should have a nice sounding system. Right now I dont have anything in my Eclipse just a headunit, and its running 2 way fronts and 2 way 6x9s, but when I feel like it I am going to put a nice little system in it and everything.

Get pictures up when they are done, It would be nice to see. I would also like to hear how it sounds, the vocals would be right in front, what are you going to run for rear fill and subs.

Wont look to bad after painting, are you putting in any mid bass upfront also??? Most go with the kickpanel speakers, but those a pillar speakers look good.

I say just get the Talon bumper also.

You can find alot in the parting out on this site, then if you find one with the same color as the car, you dont even have to paint it...

I would paint it the silver color, it would look good and just like others are saying wont show the signs of chipping like black would....and If your making your car for show it adds a bit of flare to it...

I would go with the 5 channel amp and power all the front and rear speakers then save and buy a subwoofer later. Right now in my 2g I just have 2 way 6.5 in front and 2 way 6x9 in back. They are running off the head unit but don't sound great.

No needs new paint, the guy I bought it from, somebody had dumped acid on the car melted the paint on most my driver side

Mine needs lots of work and tlc, just got it a week or too ago.

I wish it was that easy to restore my car, when I bought it the whole driver side needs paint, but looks like your doing a good job with the wax job so far. Makes the cars paint look almost brand new.

I would do it, put an OEM one on that was made for the 1g if you want a spoiler

The white ones a 2g,Id probably take the grey one, the maroon ones front is all beat up too

Mine was like that when I got it, was just dirty coolant, flush it out and put all new coolant in there.

Stick with most of the name brands and you should be ok...Jl audio, alpine, kicker, infinity just to name a few..and they will sound alot better if you get a good high quality 4 channel amp rather then running the speakers off the head unit.

It would look different with the hatch painted, its up to you though your car and what makes you happy

Sounds like the battery or alternator, could also be starter if you hear clicking
