There definitely was. Before ITE I had play back and forth and top to bottom. As far as shaking goes everything feels solid now. I'm not sure that is a definite way of checking ball joints though.

To OP, does car make the noise when on the brakes? Mine clunks and I had a bad ITE. But my car still does the same noise and I noticed that it is only if the brakes are not engaged over bumps.

I got boost creep when I put on my downpipe. Do you have a downpipe? What is your boost controller set at and is your boost controller hooked up? Check for boost leak and make sure all of your hoses are routed correctly. Is you wastegate hooked up?

My car got stuck in 5th after a trip down to ISU. I forgot that it was in gear and stopped and died it out. I had to yank it out of gear. Try pumping the clutch. Or maybe even check the shifter it might have broke off from the ball and is stuck in that position.
