well ive been sitting her pondering. i have a tre spool locking my c-diff and im thinking about getting the starion rear end and taking out the front axles and making my DSM RWD ! i know starior read ends are BEEFY and can take well over 800hp which i probally won't get close too. Question is...
ryan thats bs. you promised to fix the exhuast. now you have been warned about me which is bs and now you wont fix it. i have sat at your shop for hours nothing gone missing. all i want is my exhaust system fixed as promised.
yeah. i was pretty much done with my eclipse ill post pics of the supra for all you haters tonight or tomarrow. im 19 a full time college student and work at a pizza place but i can afford a Supra TT and money to mod it :) nothing can stop which car you want. if you just work hard and save up...
02 elim downpipes suck. you have to remove the whole downpipe if you are doing something like a turbo swap your headgasket or do your oil pan cause you have to remove the whole entire o2 housing/downpipe. it would be much easier to undue 2 bolt from the o2 housing downpipe flange and be done...
never get anything custom from rnr racing. i asked for a custom 3.5" turbo back exhaust system. 1 i didnt fit. took it back he modified it and it still didnt fit. the flex section was dented so it would clear the transfer case. the downpipe hits the front of the chassis and the piping hangs to...
for people with msd dis 2 ignition systems and relocated batteries to the rear of the car. where did you put your power and ground connections to ? did you run them all the way to the rear of the car ?
yeah i havent recieved mine yet. i dont think ill get it till this weekend. ordered it from buschur. there are a couple of the buschur ignition kits for sale. one on ebay and one on dsmtrader.
well seeing hows its sunday and buschur racing is closed it might be hard to contact them. I was going to contact them in the morning. currently i have msd dis2 but im looking to get rid of the system in favor of a aem cdi. my car is currently equipped with the ems. i guess ill just run the same...
i just ordered mine and im wondering what are some good spark plugs to use and a good spark plug gap ? jdm awd ? i know you have the following system what are you recommendations ?
well i this car has a agp garret gt30r 65 lb/min turbo with 850cc 20psi pump gas 35 psi c18 race gas. the fuel line is a -6. i was just thinking of adding an aeromotive inline to supplement the fuel starving. i think a hardwired supra should probally be enough.
ive heard all 3. cosmo is rated the highest, then supra, then walbro. but at high fuel pressure the comso and supra seem to fall off and the walbro seems to pass it cause its a little bit more flat on pressure.
what type of gm maf is it ? around the upper ic pipe or turbo intake ? the hot ic piping could be heating hte hair going in before the maf. on a dyno your car isnt moving anywhere and yes if you run the car back to back to back without ramming cold air into your smic. it will get heatsoaded and...
i would probally rewire the 190lph just to be on the safe side. dave. c's old eagle talon went 12.2 on a denso 150 fuel pump rewired with a t60-1. i think you should be able to run a 190 hardwired without a problem.
even a 20g will need a fuel system and support for it. an internally or externally gated pte turbo would be cheaper than any new 20g and would probally perform better. the pte 50 trim is an excellent turbo. the agp kit is great. i have the garret GT 30bb 65lbs turbo kit on my car. it is an...
sure you can with enough $$$ but why. anything of 9.0:1 is hard to drive on low octane on boost. also going past 020 over is a little risky but plenty of people have done it and have had no problems. its all up to your and your wallet.
a green will be much easier for you to install but i believe the pte 50 trims are better and priced better than the fp greens. the fp3052 would be the ultimate turbo but requires new parts like a tial40mm wastegate, custom made o2 housing, dumptube, and slim fans. also you should look into...
on 110 octane it is pretty believeable. just cause its on a safc2 doesnt mean it cannot be tuned. its just how fine tuned it could be. ryan doesnt want to upgrade to stand alone just yet cause he doesnt want to deal with any headaches. the evo is his daily driver. his 1g race car had a haltech...
i had to redo the oil pan gasket cause when me and dave fixed my siezed oil pump we used screw drivers to pry off the oil pan and forgot to bend the oil pan back in place. so when we installed the oil pan back in place and i started the car i was shooting out oil like crazy. im sure you've heard...
o2 elims are a B#%CH to instal. and it sux if you have to redo your oil pan gasket cause you have to remove the ENTIRE downpipe from the turbo to do it. it has good gains but i would save up for a tubular o2 housing and downpipe. it makes things so much easier.
i highly recommend JET HOT COATING. my ceramic coating ive had to applied 3 times cause it keeps fading off. also whenever i get grease on the header it looks all blah. since ive got jet hot things seem cooler in the engine bay, its not fading, its not all dirty with grease and its all bling...
well you can use it from the oil filter housing. there are restrictor plates in the turbo so you dont feed the turbo TOO MUCH oil and kill the center cartridge. i would just get it off the head to be safe and put an inline filter on the oil line so you know the oil going in your turbo is nice...
i have the garret GT40R turbo on my car. you can always use a non turbo water pipe to care of that issue. due to i have the gt series turbo which is also water cooled i had to keep the water lines. i have 2 slimline fans on my set up. sorry for the picture being so dark. you can use to pusher...
what do you guys think about these brakes ?http://www.prostreetonline.com/pso/pages/details.asp?productsku=RBK02.05im debating between those and stoptechs.1400 or 1800 ?
i 2nd ross racing pauter rods. its whats in my car. its what i'd trust going down the line. groden rods are alluminum so they are lighter. probally why shep switched from crower to those. if your on a budget there a few cars i know putting down 600 hp plus to the wheels with wiseco pistons eagle...
ive been having a dsm electrical nightmare. my gas guage goes out so i dont know how much fuel is in my tank i have to top it off everyday its annoying. also my interior lights dont work. gauge cluster lights still do but not the ones above where the roof liner starts. has anyone had this...
your best bet would be an evo 5 and up type motor that spin the other direction. that would probally be your best bet. heavent seen it done yet so go ahead and pioneer something.
its not that difficult. just get on the dyno. set your boost set up the fuel to it with a wideband o2 advance the timing until you start to knock then back it down a little bit and keep doing it over and over and over. see which configuration has the best results. richer more timing, leaner less...
by just tinkering with fuel and ignition settings watching the a/f ratio and knock sensor you can get the low end part of your car so fine tuned that it will spool up the turbo faster due to its not running to lean or too rich. also dumping loads of fuel and retarding the ignition timing does...
if you had a standalone you could probally tune to get boost by 4-4.5k but i think your going to get full boost around 4.5-5k. i get full boost on my Garret GT40R around 4k. but thats dual ball bearing and i have an ems to load up the turbo pretty good during spool up.
aem does not blow up motors its the poeple using the system that blows up motors. the aem will not do anything the user did not program it to do. you must have the right tools and knoledge to use the system. true there were some bugs but with 1.03 out now its a solid system now. with automapping...
hey candela when i make it out to pheonix ill be glad to race you for some pink slips. im sure taking your car home with me will be any worse than what happened.BWHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA !!!!
its alright i already found the problem it was the timing belt. the intake valves were opening upon ignition. everything is working fine now :) damn that 3.5" turbo back is sounding nice. ill be uploading some videos soon. letting the car idle for a good 20 minutes to clean out the motor a little.
well the engine hasnt kicked over yet. had 1 successful start up but that is it. here are my known issues now.
injectors are firing
ignition is firing
plugs are getting black from oil cumbustion
vacuum lines from the intake manifold are popping off
attomized fuel is coming out the inlet...
just a new flywheel which should come with the 6 bolt motor. the tranny will bolt right up. your only going to be using one of the mounts on the 6 bolt. the other 3 are your tranny.
if you want a quick fmic www.speedforceracing.com will make one quick. 2 weeks. there 2g kit will be out in a matter of days. you may get the first kit. i think they ask 1050 for powdercoated piping. 1150 for polished piping. check out thier site look at contact us and give tim a call. tell him...

ive had the cas fpr. works good. i have recnetly gone to aem fuel rial and regulator. the earls lines and fittings are the hardest part of the install.
why do you want to do that ? 2g head have smaller ports. 1g head will flow and breathe much better than a 2g head. it isnt a simple bolt on a now that cause it takes some type of modification to put a 1g head on a 2g block which is a good upgrade. your idea is nothing but a downgrade. still with...
also swapping in the 6 bolt means you get a bigger stock turbo bigger ports on the head, bigger intake manifold, and a kick ass motor that puts 2g motors to shame :)
