To the OP: looks really good man. i plan to do something small and clean as well i was actually thinking of just using a couple of eights myself and keeping the middle of my floor open.good work though for sure
Stage 3 is a little much IMO. For a street car i would say 2 or lower. from personal experiances anyway. some people like to drive on full throttle through every gear. not my style in a street car. at some point a nice slow cruise is in order without having to get going then hold your clutch in.. ha
*face palm* i had to check i couldnt remember which one i snagged.i got the highback 2. honestly i really think you could get away with something like a highback 2.havent had mine toooo long. but it seams pretty strong and the harness slots are located nicely.
theres a huge list of things to look at, first is it running properly.... and i use that term loosley.meaning is there anything you notice right off the bat? find out what it is and take care of it....maintenance is the biggest thing, you have to walk before you can run....DSM 4G63...
im farther up north than you are but i have a jegs poly. im a bigger guy as well. power lifter in high school. but im probably a little smaller as im under 3. however the jegs isnt too bad. wouldnt really advise it if your going to do much street driving but should be good for track. i can get...
thanks for the pic "dsmspick"and i currently have no bumper on my car... im in the middle of a transplant but i have a 2ga and 2gb
bumper at my disposal. not sure what to do... lol
the first mod i ever did on my eclipse was a fmic. had stock exhaust so the car was pretty quite. but when i swapped out the ic pipes for some stainless and a bigger intercooler it sounded really good. really quite at idle but when you got on it you could hear the turbo resinate through the...
well im long gone from dipping my toes into the show world im mainly just street but looking good so far man....and as i agree with the staggered wheel not on fwd i do have this to say.....staggered wheels can add points at competative shows, last time i walked around the dub show thats...
doesnt make alot of sense to me... so when you try to use your key chain or the door button inside it wont move? but if you unlock using your key on the other door it moves fine?at first it sounds like a movement issue but if its moving freely when you use the key on the other door that doesnt...
looks like you got a really good start going there man! keep it up....and im assuming "stage 3" is a miss type? wouldnt you want to start with like stage 1? loljust saying that stage 3 might be a bit much off the bat. i know its right in the middle but you have a better time
getting used to...
IMO it really depends on what you want to do.if you want a little more power for a little less money... sure go for it. but beware of the possible outcomes. it may work for a while. it may never fail. however, each and everyone of our cars is going to act different.so if one guy buys it...
as long as the "plug" you have fits in place nicely you can do that and it works just fine.ninja makes a valid point, the better option would be to weld and do a proper body fill.but it is your car. and if your paint is rather fresh then just go with the plug. iv done it and it keeps
out...
Image wise im a fan of the rotas... but in the real world im a fan of function over flare. so i would have to say if your looking to get good times then find a set of lighter wheels that tickle your fancy. sounds as if you did that with the enkies so i would say go there.so in my mind its...
Whats up guys. josh here from just under the bridge. just got my first dsm before winter and have been at it all winter.got a 96 gst for 600 bucks. in great shape should have payed way more but got really lucky. stock turbo was out. bad seals, rediculous play. like worst iv seen. wanted to...
Paid 600 for my 96 GST. blown turbo seals was the only problem. we had an extra t-25 layin around... bolted it on and good to go..... then i started ripping it apart again. decided to go all through it.
I have recently purchased my first dsm as well. although mine was a gs-t that i picked up at a steal.... :DBut first things first. Just fix your problems and DO YOUR RESEARCH. Make the car run right first and just think about your future goals and what you really want to do with the car...
