I want to check to see if i spun A rod bearing,is it a good idea to remove the rod caps to check the bearings while the engines still in the car aka i just remove the oil pan

Its either a lifter or a spun rod. Its really quiet rigjt now but its there.ill probubly replace the lifters motor has 220,000

Im pulling my oil pan off becuase i have a ticking noise. What should i look for besides glitter, also how wpuld i be able to tell if i had a bent valve? Would i have to remove them?

Hi! I just put on a 14b turbo, yay! Im getting a wierd flurtering at a negative psi i have a knock off blow off valve and i tapped intp the line for my wastegate my blow off valve seems to b making more noise. any thouths would be nice. I assumed it was a boost leak thats being wierd...

id imagine it has to do with the mounts and lines that run off it, if it has the same mounts and same lines still, go with what came stock. but id look into their differences and compare them to what you need. obviously if it has different mounts, i wouldn't get it.

get an exhuast ,straight pipe, it sounds amazing. a simple easy + to hp, if its a high milage car (wish i had done it sooner) get a used 14b in good condition. 1g's had them stock , 2g's have t25'scrank walk is something you should learn aboutalso fix your doors before they brake...

Dont jump to any conclusions, when in doght research! you have to identify the problem or you'll end up chasing butterflies aka buying a bunch of parts that dont need to be replaced

make sure you bled them properly, and the fluid isnt low. if it leaked out they wouldnt be working, or it could cuase air in the line. id say rebleed and if it happens again check all the fittings and then lines.

hey guys, im not very familier with tranny problems. my clutch grabs by the floor and iv gotten tired of it. Could i get some suggestions on what could be wrong? iv bleed my master/slave and read a bit and was wondering about a possible "adjustment" i could do to them. thanks for any help!

Sorry for late reply. Ill explain as best i can. The belt as far as i know was still in mildly time, becuase the pulley the tensioner is supposed to tension was not tightened correctly and as such came loose. when that happend the belt would buckle on the cam gears cause it to come out of time...

Changed my Alternator belt and i had a bad engine idle problem, Could i of hit something on the Engine Beside the alternator belt/ whats on that side of the engine. and also could a bad alternator cause idling problems because my lights flickered pretty steadily before the belt change.
