1st generation non-turbo are 4g63 motors. Valve cover is the same. The 420a Chrysler motors were introduced in 1995 (2nd gen) non-turbo motors. 1g will be fine. Motors are the same as 2g turbo except around 93-94 and earlier they are a 6 bolt 4g63 which have different parts internal/external.

Good app and feature. They also have a seperate plugin app mitsubishi specific that apps mitsubishi pids. Adds extra features for DSM's. I use daily on my 7"android tablet i installed in dash.
