I had the exact same issue and my dsmlink wasn't logging anything at first but cylinders 2 and 3 would drop out once the cargot warm, anyways long story short it was the # 55 pin on my 1g ecu i am not sure but i think #26 on a 2g ecu I'm probably wrong. Either way it controls the 2&3 cylinders...

I know on my 1g I had the Big 16g turbo with stock pump and injectors running 14 psi and would hit fuel cut at 5000 rpm, I uprgaded to a wahlbro 190 and yellowtop injectors (cant remember the size) my fuel cut went away and i could redline at 19 psi with no issues at all.

I have been taking it out thats where iam getting the 10-13 psi from, i can hit 7000 rpm and about 13 psi and still not even a peep just turkey flutter from my intake.no gm maf yet I am using a 2g maf on a 1g motor i realize i should be using a gm maf with translator but just have not able...

Yes the 97 plug is what was there so i take it the harness is a 97 as well as ecu, I'm thinking of not using my dsmlink 90 just so i don't have issues with the pin swap. Also my car is still flooding i believe from about 2k to 4500k then smoothes out and she flies all the way to redline. Still...

It was a bad connection on pin 55 of the ecu the transistor was fine, sent the ecu back yo dsmlink they fixed it and sent it back free of charge.

just had the same issue yesterday, car would start but as soon as i pushed the brakes it would drop idle and i would get a CEL but only for about 5 seconds. I changed my battery and it went away immediatly Hope this helps
