I had the exact same issue and my dsmlink wasn't logging anything at first but cylinders 2 and 3 would drop out once the cargot warm, anyways long story short it was the # 55 pin on my 1g ecu i am not sure but i think #26 on a 2g ecu I'm probably wrong.
Either way it controls the 2&3 cylinders...

I know on my 1g I had the Big 16g turbo with stock pump and injectors running 14 psi and would hit fuel cut at 5000 rpm, I uprgaded to a wahlbro 190 and yellowtop injectors (cant remember the size) my fuel cut went away and i could redline at 19 psi with no issues at all.

I had almost the same issue and my lights would dim out but only when i put the brakes on, my battery tested 12.8v which I thought was fine but then it started to stall out on me when braking so i replaced the battery and voila!!! no more issues.

just had the same issue yesterday, car would start but as soon as i pushed the brakes it would drop idle and i would get a CEL but only for about 5 seconds. I changed my battery and it went away immediatly
