    Some of the harshness is the binding, specifically on the 2-3 shift. The goal of this is longevity at mid to high power levels more than street manners though. As soon as the pressure control parts are eliminated street driving will be harsh.

    The intake is an evo8 mivec cam gear. I designed and machined that fitting and drove the fuel pump off the exhaust cam in the laser, and that piece is still on it for now. This truck will be a cable drive to a fuel pump and tank in the bed.

    Update from a week and a half ago - we have 1010whp uncorrected, or 1009whp corrected here. This is at 63-64psi, the car ran 7.942 at 179.3mph hanging the revlimiter for 0.85sec during a pass at 60psi, which was 971whp.
