Sprayed to get on the converter, less than a second.<a href=http://s97.photobucket.com/albums/l205/Spoolinawd/99%20125hp%20elpt/?action=view¤t=image.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l205/Spoolinawd/99%20125hp%20elpt/image.jpg border=0 alt=></a>
Congrats for going so fast with so little. No sponsors, no huge racing budget, no "race team", nitrous only for spoolup until 6krpm in first, small 67mm, e85 pump fuel, off the shelf hughes restall, no special motor- used shortblock, 2.0l, stock unmodified crank, old school 8.5-1 compression...
This car and the whole cdub crew are verry impressive. I am excited to know the auto 8.8 setup has beendone. I have been gathering information and pricing a build to 4link my auto. Mirage. I have been wanting to make the car awd forever and since the awd diff isn't a bolt in affair I started...
The auto cars have more of a challenge getting the turbo to light out the hole. Even with the re-stall converter the nitrous is necessary to get the rpms up enough till the turbo starts making boost.
Congratulations Shane. Wouldn't trust anyone else to tune my car. I hope I'm at the track with you when you get that Ocho timeslip.Took a couple videos while I was at ASAP yesterday.

I have a 3065 on my Mirage. I have a fwd dsm turbo tranny with an open diff. With the two-step set at 5,500 I was able to get 1.7 60's. That is on 24.5'' MT ET Drags at 11psi.EDIT: I added some videos to the video section
Damn I wish I could keep up... You have been keeping me motivated about my car for quite some time now, and now with your switch to the 3575 Im even more excited. Congrats on the new best, cant wait for times on 35psi. I read on nabr that you lift to shift to keep the tranny together, I know...
The GM MAF could also be used in draw through configuration in place of your stock maf. It's plug and play but would require the use of a different air filter, but so does a 2gmaf. Simple plug in installation plus 1 wire tap is all you will have to do.
My favirote awd csm... www.lilevo.com
My fav. fwd csm... www.turbomirage.comI didn't get to beat on the car because it wasnt getting enough volts and the car was stuttering and popping, I will let you know how it feels after I get the new alternator in. The car currently has a stock...
I got mine running yesterday and drove it around the block!I picked up an 89' Mirage turbo with a 4g63 swap for $400. Tightened the flywheel bolt's which were all loose, replaced fuel pump and ran -6 feed line, and new coil and the car started and drives. Now the alternator isn't charging...
Even if you had a completely stock car running those times I would say you had room to do better. The 99mph trap speed would easily put you in the low 14s or high 13s, although you said the car was falling on its face up top so you will prolly trap higher. Get ready for some 13s.
So the black car is the same car in the threads titled "Evil Eagle street car" from about 6months ago? Also are you running a stroker now or still on 2liters?
Any knock?Try zeroing the afc out and using the MAFT to compensate for the injector size. Then after you have the correct injector size use the afc to fine tune.
The bottle was opened in second gear at wide open throttle, you can hear the motor rev up for like .5seconds and then it blows. From outside the car you could see the car torque steer and then immediately flames rolled out from underneath the hood and from under the car.
Possibly the best burnout session evarhttp://spoolinawd.com/downloads/Burntheballsoff-small.wmvhttp://spoolinawd.com/downloads/Burntheballsoff-small2.wmvhttp://spoolinawd.com/downloads/Burntheballsoff-big.wmv
I found this at the March 10 2002 update on Dre's site..."New track results, 11.7 @ 119, all the information is at my times page, http://www.twingles.com/ideck/eclipse/times.htm, timeslip is also scanned there, and a link to the MPEG of that run there as well. Here is a quick link...
When looking for exhaust to use on my car I read somewhere on this site that Shep made 700whp on 3'' diameter piping, How many of us are ever going to make more than that?Plus I got my 3'' turbo back for $499 from RnR, The Buschur 3.5'' was about $900.
Are you referring to Dre's white 2g? I believe he was in the 400s with a green but switched to a custom 50trim to make over 500whp on 93. I have no idea if he has brought it to the track but Dre's car is beautiful.http://www.twingles.com/ideck/
