hello i need some info i got some manley turbo tuff i beam 156mm rods from a friend out of his evo8 and im putting them in a 4g63 7bolt 99 eclipse gsx short block with a 88mm stock crank im going to run wisco hd e85 pistons but what should be the size of the pistons

i had to upgrate mine after i hit 421 torq. on the dyno it would not holding the power and wasn't letting me shift at high rpms either so i went to a stage 3 plus from spec and never had any problem yet
sounds like you have a Mass air flow sensor problem unplug it and see if it stays runing or if it dies if it dies then your good if it stays running your mas is bad and that will not let you go past 3k rpm
yeah i would check the plugs and wires and also the coilpack to but you might need to do a o2 sensor test bye taking it out and pooring gas onto a rag and holding it around the o2 sensor and see if it runs rich on the gauge this will limit that o2 sensor being bad also check your bolts on the...
i agree what turbo are you running and how many miles are on it if its still the T25 or t28 the bearings could be shot or going out or you might just have a bad valves cover o-ring that go areound the head and valve gasket and you might check you port ontop of your valve cover that runs back to...

40 percent of dsm problems on here is either a boost leak or vacuum leak and yes it can the ecu you is trying to adjust for the leak and its making the car running funny
yeah just rebuild it your self its not rocket science its pretty easy just take the crank and new rods and pistons and have them balanced at a machine shopcheck the block and make sure it dont need to be bored over any
ok first can you get me pic of the timing on the cams and also go ahead and compression test it just b/c you fell compression on the crank or cam it can only be one cylinder that building compression and the other one can be dead

well i like honda i have a built k20a eg making 525 whp on stock block and stock head but how ever like people say it easy to push a car then pull one and you just cant beat the price it cost less to make a gsx fast then it does a honda but awd vs front wheel drive you pick which is better
is the fuel filter clog up ? or the filter on your pump have you check the tank and seen if it was clean befor installing the 255 lp pump ? check your fuel relay ? most of the time when a fuel relay going out it wont start or it just dies when driving it but i had one that cut my fuel pump off...
check your timing on ther car make sure both cams are in timing mine was doing it and i check everthing iac tps o2 sensor and everthing then i seen it was 2 teeth off on the cam and put it back into timing and it ran fine
i just got my V3 with Speed Dens and wiring up to ecu right now my ? is on the IAT it tells me to connect one wire coming from the IAT sensor to pin out 72 and one to pin 92 this is 2g dsm so when i cut the wires at the ecu to connect the iat sensor wiring do i leave the end i just cut that run...
