So I took my 1990 tsi fwd to my buddy to inspect it and he found out that my trailing arms are rusting apart. I was wondering if if was fixable and how difficult it would be.

its actually in the intake off the turbo. should i move it to there?

i have both of those. i would like to recirc it but i have no was of doing so. and the stock bov is a different size flange so i cant use it.

Also, this did not happen before i changed the intercooler and stock bov which was recirculated. So i believe that its because on my bov being vented to atmosphere.

Not true. I was running 24 psi with stock fuel system. Only type of tuning device is a wideband.

I did dial the injectors in with the translator and when i do the car wont even run. it does but barely.

Yes. And the other cable into the out port. I am trying to use logworks 3.08 i think it is.Could it be because i do not have the disk that comes with the wideband kit itself? I just went to the website and downloaded logworks.

Does anyone know why my turbo timer will not keep my car running? It works turns on time counts down but as soon as i turn the key the car shuts off but timer counts down.

It is hooked up right. From the wg to the bc from the bc to the j pipe.

I had my boost set at 24 psi then i turned it down to about 9 psi for percautious reasons. But now i cannot turn my boost back up past about 15 psi. I installed a j pipe so my routing is a little shorter. But any input on why i cannot reach my previous setting after installing my new set up?

Actually i installed a j pipe to my set up yesterday and my a/f is now 14.0 it was at 14.7. It may be a boost leak or my crappy mbc isnt working properly.Anyone else?

Could turning my boost down make my car not run right? I was at 24 psi and it ran fine but i turned to down because i dint want anything to go wrong. But now my car runs like crap. So does this mean my car is tuned for 24 psi? Also i cannot turn my boost back up now. It will not turn up.

If i had a leak it would do it all the time wouldnt it? It only does it when i dont drive the car for a few days or more.

Whenever i push the pedal to the floor no matter what rpm its like choppy and doesnt want to rev past the rpm it is at. But if i ease on the gas its fine. Somebody help. Btw it doesnt always do this. It randomly does it. Maybe dirty/clogged injectors?

Ive checked my fuses, checked for power at the lights and nothing. I only have like 1.7v at the fuse block for my back-up lights. So what could it be? Short somewhere? Im not too good with wiring.

The hose thats on the boost controller goes to the j pipe on the turbo then the one that is off goes to the wg. I dont know which knob to turn. i turned the tanish one and nothing. I dont know if i shound turn the bolt or what.

Stock motor from what the previous owner said, big 16g turbo, gm maf, maf translator, fmic, greddy rs bov, innovative wideband, boost, a/f ratio and oil pressure...

Would i have to loosen the tensioner? Like would the belt be to tight to get it all back together.

I saw a video on youtube where the guy like ziptied the belt to the gears so on and so forth. But i dont know how to time a motor. Never done it and probably dont have the tools to do so.Yeh ive heard of that method. Eventually ill get around to try it. Im only 15 but i would rather do it...

Sounds good! But first i need a eprom ecu and link itself. I think ill just send my ecu out to them to get it socketed. But it probably wont be for a while.
