So I took my 1990 tsi fwd to my buddy to inspect it and he found out that my trailing arms are rusting apart. I was wondering if if was fixable and how difficult it would be.

Yes. And the other cable into the out port. I am trying to use logworks 3.08 i think it is.Could it be because i do not have the disk that comes with the wideband kit itself? I just went to the website and downloaded logworks.
Does anyone know why my turbo timer will not keep my car running? It works turns on time counts down but as soon as i turn the key the car shuts off but timer counts down.

I had my boost set at 24 psi then i turned it down to about 9 psi for percautious reasons. But now i cannot turn my boost back up past about 15 psi. I installed a j pipe so my routing is a little shorter. But any input on why i cannot reach my previous setting after installing my new set up?
Actually i installed a j pipe to my set up yesterday and my a/f is now 14.0 it was at 14.7. It may be a boost leak or my crappy mbc isnt working properly.Anyone else?
Could turning my boost down make my car not run right? I was at 24 psi and it ran fine but i turned to down because i dint want anything to go wrong. But now my car runs like crap. So does this mean my car is tuned for 24 psi? Also i cannot turn my boost back up now. It will not turn up.
Im looking to trade my 1g tsi fwd for a 2g tsi awd and his bov is not opening. I cant tell you much all i know is its not working. Its a tial. Any ideas why this could be happening?
Whenever i push the pedal to the floor no matter what rpm its like choppy and doesnt want to rev past the rpm it is at. But if i ease on the gas its fine. Somebody help. Btw it doesnt always do this. It randomly does it. Maybe dirty/clogged injectors?
Ive checked my fuses, checked for power at the lights and nothing. I only have like 1.7v at the fuse block for my back-up lights. So what could it be? Short somewhere? Im not too good with wiring.

The hose thats on the boost controller goes to the j pipe on the turbo then the one that is off goes to the wg. I dont know which knob to turn. i turned the tanish one and nothing. I dont know if i shound turn the bolt or what.
Nope. And no it works its way up to 24. But i never hit fuel cut which i dont understand.It could be wrong. Idk. But its not an evo III. its just a big 16g.

I saw a video on youtube where the guy like ziptied the belt to the gears so on and so forth. But i dont know how to time a motor. Never done it and probably dont have the tools to do so.Yeh ive heard of that method. Eventually ill get around to try it. Im only 15 but i would rather do it...
Is there a way i can install cams without having to remove the timing belt and or having to retime the motor? Im sure there is but i want to make sure its possible.
Sounds good! But first i need a eprom ecu and link itself. I think ill just send my ecu out to them to get it socketed. But it probably wont be for a while.
