i bought it from my friend, he bought it and it ran awesome. he said it turns over but the the crank sprocket just spins and the belt doesnt move so maybe it ate some teeth? all the timing marks line up and i can turn the cams just fine so it doesnt seem like theres any bent valves

Because they came in the rebuild kit so why not use them lol. The plate that goes between the outer clutch plate (the really thick one) was warped, i just used an extra reverse steel to replace it, works the same
Because its turbocharged. The only part rewired was the fuel pump relay and module so have a constant signal instead the of the spyders usual "add more voltage depending on tps"

Any tips on getting the bigger clutch pack (reverse i think) installed? I put them in the tranny, and try to put the basket back in, but it stops about 1/8" from fully seated.. Been trying for a while now. Same amount of friction plates ans steels as factory and soaked in ATF.

I swapped a 99 GSX 4g63 ECU into my 98 Spyder GS 4g64 when i turbocharged it, and i just realized that the cruise control doesn't work anymore... The light on the switch comes on, but when i try to set a speed, the dash light won't come on. Is it possible the GSX ECU didn't have cruise? Or did...
If this is a 98/99 you could just flash it and remove those trouble codes completely from the ECU (the rear o2 and cat). Thats what i do, saves fristration.
