turns out my head gasket is bad. i have wanted to upgrade the turbo for awhile and i feel like this is a good chance to do it since i have a reason to remove the head. if i slap a 20g or maybe a 16g on it with headers and a MBC and just keep the boost low say maybe 16psi will it be okay to run...

hi, i just bought my 97 gsx.. i love it but when i ride it over 4k rpms hard the boost spikes over 20 psi then fuel cuts... i found the top hose to the wastegate solenoid not connected so i connected it to the intake from the turbo to the solenoid and now it hits like 30 psi then blows and...
