Everything is lined up again! Lol thanks for spotting that error, after I put it back to 2.0l I’m back in business. My finger must have slipped and changed it without me knowing. But yes I will adjust the biss screw. Thank you!
I should have stated that this is a tuned car and all was fine. Well the tune wasn’t finished but it was close. After a pull things became all out of wack.
I think your right. I was letting it idle again and now my fuel pressure is in the mid 50's so maybe the fuel pressure sensor is showing a correct reading. I can adjust the fuel pressure all the way out but it doesnt help much. Diaphragms are cheap enough so ill give that a try. Thank you.
Im trying to diagnose a issue and im thinking its a bad map sensor which is a AEM 5 bar. My AFRatioEST and LC1WB are way off at idle. It sputters and dies when trying to drive. I have a key on log and a idle log below. The key on log shows the map sensor at -1.1 and in the idle log you can see...
Thank you for your advice MorrisonFab it helps a ton. The alternator is relocated but the oil filter will be in the way. Hopefully this turns out and if it doesnt I will contact you MorrisonFab for the nice downpipes that you make.
Looking to make my own down pipe for a bullseye T3 70ar housing. This will be my first down pipe and I am a beginner at tig welding. Stainless steel is pricey so I only want to buy the right stuff once and not mess up.I want to stick with mandrel bends and avoid pie cuts. THis will connect to...
I guess I can do the OEM cover. This is my first time opening up a oil pump case so im not sure what I can get away with when it comes to scratches in there. I haven't seen what higher mileage cases look like and I wonder how many people out there just reuse a oil pump case in such condition. It...
So looking for info on my oil pump dilemma I found this thread. I was going to do the ACL/Orbit oil pump with straight cut gears out of my OEM pump like the OP wanted to do. I put the straight cut gears in the acl pump and bolted the cover back on. I go to turn it by hand and man its not freely...
Yes sir I am. I'm just having wiring issues. A short or bad ground or something. My Pigtail connecting to the wiper motor is getting hot, Temp gauge works when it wants too. The fans aren't turning on by themselves but when I turn them on through link the car wants to die. Its a nightmare so I...
Searched but I can not find a way to identify the connectors that plug in under the radio. I believe some of the wires are the windshield wipers and whatever else is in there.
I had the same issue on my FP green. I tried the 6 ply gasket and there regular 7cm gasket from extremepsi. The 6 ply wouldn't fit at all and the regular 7cm gasket barely squeezed by. So I tried another gasket from MAP performance and that one fits perfect. Get the one from MAP and you wont...
Ok so I'm just going to update this just incase someone else runs into the same issue. I tried a different brand gasket and it fits perfect. I got this gasket from MAP performance and it fits like a glove. So anyone running FP green, red, or black might want to consider this.
As much as I would love to run FICs or IDs its tempting to try out FIDs to save some money. They are a Bosch injector. I cant find much info on them but the little that I did find seems to be all positive. If anyone here has experience with FIDs please chime in, it would be nice to know how they...
Contact Gamble on here. He might be able to help you out with some FID Bosch Injectors. I might go that route when I'm ready to buy mine. I want FIC 2150's but if I cant swing the cash then I will look at these FID's.
Yes I tried all ways. No matter how I flip it the bolts are a tight fit and the threads rub. I might try a 6 ply gasket again and if I cant get it to fit like last time then I will contact the company.
So I'm having a fitment problem. This is a new turbo, as you can see in the picture the 7cm turbo to manifold gasket doest fit perfect. Its not that bad, the gasket is barely overlapping the turbo inlet or circumference...if that's the best way to describe it. But what bothers me is the manifold...
I am using a wideband in place of my front o2 sensor like many people do. Right now I am depinning all the unused sensors on my engine harness and doing a wire tuck. The whole time I have had this front o2 sensor balled up and tossed to the side since I wasn't using it. The problem is this thing...
So how would I go about running a -12an line off of a FP Green HTA? The motor I bought comes with a -12an that was welded onto the oil pan. I haven't been able to find a fitting that will work with the turbo....seems like I will have to custom make something.
Yeah I always had V8's and when I decided to try out a dsm I thought that I would save on gas.lol Man was I wrong...800hp corvettes can get mid 20's mpg too as long as you keep your foot out of it. Problem is I cant, so even though its a 4 banger I'm always boostin so for me I don't get good MPG...
As stated above the OEM water pump is pricey. Get the Gates pump there is nothing wrong with it. Deleting the balance shafts is nice because its one less thing to worry about because if that belt goes it will take the timing belt out with it. The Kevlar is stronger but not really needed. But if...
Your crazy if you pay that....here use this link and order your parts. You can even have the option to order the OEM Evo Kevlar belt.

Bringing this thread back to life. The guy I bought this motor from plugged the exhaust port with what I think is JB weld. I can leave it be if you guys think it will hold up but I'm guessing it wont. If I want to get that stuff out of there I'm thinking I should drill it out and then maybe...
Good to know someone made 500hp with the FP Green. Completely stock though??? Not even aftermarket cams? If so that's impressive. Here I thought I would have a hard time reaching 500 on e85, GSC S2 cams with a ported head and a bump in compression. You have given me hope.lol
Order the 450 walbro, its only $99 right now on extremepsi for black Friday. I ordered mine yesterday, I have the FP green too but plan on upgrading later on so the 450 pump was perfect.
I will be installing a new oil seal today on the front case. Sucks that I noticed I needed a new one after I installed a new timing belt and tensioner. Now I have to redo the timing belt job which I'm not happy about. Tensioners scare me.lol I feel like if I even look at a tensioner wrong it...
Bringing this thread back only to chime in on my experience with a gates timing tensioner. I bought the gates kit last year, installed it and upon start up the gates tensioner failed. It only idled for a few minutes before failure. After investigating what happened I found fluid had leaked from...
I almost went that route with the por15. I didn't end up using por15 because I didn't go down to bare metal on the firewall. You should have used there paint that goes over the por15, not that it gets exposed to uv rays much because its under the hood but I think that paint will eventually start...
I just did mine. I kind of regret the way I did it but whatever it still looks ok. I used Eastwoods 2k aero spray paint. I choose to do it that way because I didn't have a air compressor or paint gun so this was the next best thing. There spray cans are very finicky and didn't seem to spray well...
My mistake yes I meant the connector. I see the difference your talking about I didn't catch that. Thanks for the help I will go ahead and order the CAS connector.
http://www.ohm-racing.com/?product=1g2g-tps-sensor-connectorhttp://www.ohm-racing.com/?product=1g-c-a-s-connectorLooking at the two sensor the only difference I see is the price. I need to buy a new CAS connector but really it looks like I can just buy a TPS and use it as a CAS sensor for...
If he isn't interested in the motor I would be. Ill PM you. What up Sleeper1ga I'm the dude that lives down the street from you.lol We talked on the Chicago Garage forum.
So my carrier bearings went bad and my transfercase leaks and im guessing it leaks because the yoke was probably never replaced to fix the common leaking problem. I was looking to save some cash and just buy a good diveshaft that already has the proper yoke installed and good carrier bearings...
I went with my first idea and cut the end off the 90 degree elbow and had it welded back on. I hope the weld is good enough. This was a weld from a guy that my friend worked with. He also welded my BOV flang. I got it done cheap, all he wanted was a 12 pack of Amstel light for the welds.lol...
Are the pulleys from a N/T 4g63 the same as a Turbo 4g63? I am doing a 6 bolt swap and I have to get rid of that power steering drive pulley that sits behind the water pump because it take a V belt instead of the ribbed 2g belt. There are some N/T 4g63 in the junk yard and I was thinking about...
