    Weight Reduction.

I just got my second 1G and the back was gutted, the guy planned on just running the track. For my part, the crazy excess noise for me using this as a pleasure ride doesn't justify the poundage lost. So the interior is getting worked back in. Of course, I'm old and getting grey hair and just...

    How to clean back seats.

For cloth> Simple green, vinegar/baking soda, there's also a product called "citro ppe" that firefighters use to clean the soot out of their gear, stuff works awesome, but its a lil pricy. That should get any of the water stains out.

Car Overheated / Overheating / Overheats [MERGED]

I agree with the water pump most likely being the issue. BUT > I would flush the system first, way cheaper and less time consuming. Just may do the trick. My 1G when I had this issue was the WP, my F150, I got off with a flush and another flush.

Install car alarm or pay someone?

If you feel comfortable, I'd go for it. Map out your wiring and location so everything is nice and neat. Have lots of heat shrink, and have a fellow gear turner to get frustrated with you if it comes to that. Two heads can get through an install nice and easy.

Was running fine, now misfiring/no power/dead battery. Alternator?

Kind of an odd situation I had that relates to this with my F150-- Random no power, no start. Ended up finding out a critter chewed into the wire from the alternator to the battery. Ran a new one and problem solved. Of course the Multimeter could tell you that too just like the above posts.
