Parting out my 1990 Eagle Talon AWD 5 speed. Got to get back to school. Below is an ad for some of the parts, but I have a built engine JE 8.5:1, Eagle rods, 0.020 built block with just idle time on it (6 bolt). 6 Bolt, Crower 272/272 cams, Manley valve springs, AWD trans with Jack's 2nd gear...
Looking for an adapter fitting from the stock bottom hard line to my -6an male FuelLab fuel filter. I need a female to female -6an to stock fuel filter line fitting. Anyone found one? Couldn't find one on Summit.
I am running an oil cooled turbo and want to delete the oil filter coolant assembly. Anyone have a part number for a stud I could run in place? NT stud?
Thanks, Jeff
^ Even at that altitude that STi should be a TON faster than that, minimum 120mph traps. And work on that those times! I got a 14.1 (2.1 60'ft) out of my FWD Laser with 225 street tires with UICP, 20psi, and open stock downpipe (Walbro 190).
Automatic or manual? The stock DSM tranny is likely going to be very disruptive to an 11 sec pass if it's not at least a double-cone synchro 2nd gear, or modified auto.
Looking for better lighting from my 1G headlights. I'm not interested into gay 10K HID's (5K only) and yellow fogs and all that crap. I'm interested in getting the most from my stock 92-94 housings. What kind of things are my fellow DSM'ers running for better lighting at night?
Good HID...
I should've added I want 2-step and increased rev limit, on the pictures I see the rom tables only go up to 7k?EDIT: Emailed Jestr (the guy I want to tune it). Will repost if I need further help. Thanks for the responses.
I'm trying to see what to tune my car with after its done being built. I recieved an Ostrich Emanulator and a eprom socketed ECU with the parts car I bought. I'm running an AGP 50 trim (dsm flanged), Crower 272's, E85, 1200cc, Walbro 400, FL FPR, Zeitronix wideband, crushed 1G BOV recir'd...
Actually my old roomate just bought it! Going to a good home. He just sold his 35R M3 E36. Yeah I've been around the scene for about 8 years, good friends with all of them.
I'm in Gainesville. My car is still a couple months out but sounds like I'll have to checkout the Orange Park meet sometime. I've got a JE/Eagle AGP 50 trim, BC 272, E85, 6-bolt 94 Talon I'm building. Some of the older member may know my friend Sav. Owner of IMV Films.
Best street tire for the price and wear rating are gonna be Hankook V12 Evo's. The best street tires on currently available (if wear is not a problem) are Hankook RS-3's, Kumho XS's, and Dunlop Direzza Star Spec's in that order [as tested by lap times and highest G's pulled verfied through a...
The Weisco ones I'm looking at are 2.5" length and the same OD (correct length for the pistons). Does the piston pin weight matter as long as they are all the same?My plan is to not use the ones supplied and get 4 new Weisco pistons pins the correct length and OD.The current JE piston...
I bought a new set of JE pistons off ebay but the box was missing one piston pin. I looked up a replacement pin from JE and there are some big differences in the weight and length. I think I may have an older style piston from JE. My question is can I use 4 new pins from JE in my current pistons...
I like the look Aston Martin and Lamborghini dashs' I know this car is far from it but would be cool to feel something like it with the look. "Flocking" sounds like it may be the cheapest way (otherwise I would just cover it in black suede) to do this sort of look.
Anyone ever flock their 1G dash? I like the look of sort suede exotic style interior and reducing the glare would be great. Wondering if anyone has done it to their 1G and has pictures?
The Sparco Evo 2 is definitely my choice of fixed back, good for 150-200lb people and the XL for larger. I could daily in the Evo 2 for sure. I hated Brides, they felt like they were made for slim-waisted girls.
Decide on a fuel pump for future modification, full exhaust, intake (choose maf or ecu based on future modification, remove BCS add boost controller, then when maxed out choose injectors for future modification.
Cutting out the carpet behind the clutch petal will also help, and making sure your clutch petal assembly isn't flexing. If it is you might want to look into a braced clutch petal assembly like RRE has.
