Trace your head light wires and look for damage. Could have damaged one when installing the new motor by the sounds of it. Can't see them not shutting off just because of an engine swap.

Just a side off caution when ordering valve seals I called today about getting the dimensions of the super tech valve seals narrow OD and they measured and told me they are 14.8. But the super tech inside valve spring is only 14.2.... So with more research I found out the ST VSs are 13.7mm not...

fixed all boost/vacuum leaks. the problem ended up being that the throttle cable was way to loose and was closing the throttle body completely shut. runs mint now!
