Definitely the cam angle sensor, I had the same problem and replaced all that ignition stuff. If the CAS doesn't fix the problem, it could possibly be a bad connection somewhere or messed up wire on the harness
My HKS is recirculated with the ebay fitting, don't get the 1 inch, its smaller than the fitting on the intake and its hard to find a tube that fits both ends. I also did some slight grinding but you can definitely make it work with a genuine hks
You should still be getting fuel if your CAS is bad, check the fuel pump relay. if this is bad or not plugged in your fuel pump wont send fuel. and i'm pretty sure our ecu's tell the car not to spark if there's no fuel there.
So i spun out in the ran and hit a guard rail and destroyed my driver side rear quarter panel. The car ran perfect before the accident but now it wont start. i was just wondering if there is a fuel cutoff switch anywhere that couldnt been thrown, i did some research but couldnt find anything on...
how many miles do u have on the engine? your piston rings could possibly be worn, the cylinders are the only place the oil and gas come close to eachother. try compression and leak tests
I had the same problem with my 95 tsi, my battery wouldnt hold a charge at all, i got that and my alternater checked at advanced and they told me both were good so I just took a chance and replaced my battery and that solved my problem.
