i had that mbc before, worked great..it is a bleed type mbc, did you tee it back into the intake?

first things first, why not just go SD now? whats the reason you need to wait?secondly i would recirculate that, its going to make you run very rich during shifts due to un metered air. it can cause sputtering, stalling, and rich conditions. i dont think those will help you at the track...

curshing the 1g bov allows it to hold more boost without leaking. just search crushed bov.you can crush it with any hard surface on the top in a vice, ive done it with a 2x4 block and a hammer.,just go carfully till the valve is almost level with the top.

i missed the part where he said he swapped in a 5spd ecu. that ecu is programmed to be running on 450s stock. i have a set of 1g 450s if you need em msg me.

clean out your sidemount with low octane gas..take it off, pour the gas in, shake, pour out. repeat till it comes out its original color. let it dry throughly before re-installing.just replace the manifold and 02 housing with ported 2g ones.

shuld still do a Boost Leak Test to make sure you're all good. It is something you shuld get in the habit of doing fairly often.

just port out your current 2g mani and spray with high temp 2000* bbq paint if you're on a budget, or just send it out to get coated after porting.

search Boost Leak Test , pressurize the system to 5 or so psi over what you will be running. listen for leaks, also spray some soapy water and you will see the bubbles to indentify a leak. start up by the throttle body and work your way down

shuld probally just look for something in good working order for that money man..if your feeling risky, maybe 1200-1700 if hes got the recipts for the tranny, and you can verify its actually a 6bolt etc, i still wouldnt trust some1 thats running that setup with an afc and narrowbands at high...

no, you are going to need a wideband reguardless of who tunes it. you can grab a LC-1 / MTX-L for about 165 on ebay. a very needed investment, you shuld have baught a long time ago.read this first, and give it a shot...

the hotter gases flow better(as they enter the downpipe) & As the gases travel down the pipe(through the testpipe to catabck) they expand, & the speed decreases. there for a lager pipe diameter twards the end(catback) can "help" this flow as the gasses cool and expand...therefore bigger to...

a 3" dp to 2.5 catback will cause turbulence...the other way around though, is not bad...tell him to just buy a 2.5" dp lol.but to answer your question, it will bolt up fine.

i have the SRS catback on my 1g awd, its NOT true 3" all the way through its 3" about 85% but between the two resonators its about 2.80ish(i dont mind at all because i was actually lookin for a 2.5 exhaust). It bolted right up to my 2.5" downpipe without a problem. fitment was GREAT, lined up...

first off the stock boost gauge is not accurate, so dont trust that,ever. meaning it may have always been at 7psi.seems as if your spool time is about right, but id still fix your exhaust mani stud, and do a boost leak test. check your turbo for shaft play(both up and down, and in and out)...

i take it the reason you're doing this is to be using evoscan/ecuflash...so the answer is no.not to insult you or anything, but maybe you shuld read up on ecuflash a bit.
