This is a NA, 94 7-bolt motor, daily driven.. Timing belt snapped and bent some valves.. Will a 6 bolt 1g head just drop right on ,if the oem headbolts are used ? This car is for transportation only.. Not modded..
Drove almost 3 hours to the track and back..I was so excited, I left a tub of tools & parts behind !! LOL Car is full weight with all options working...No NOS and street tires (24.86" tall)..
Its a 93 awd...A converter change is all I need..Would it be better to remove flexplate bolts and pull just the engine out , leaving the trans and supporting it underneath ?
I usually just drop the trans on a cradle and raise the car..Just looking for other ideas that might take less time...
I had my BB35r off and set aside for about a year..Just put it back on and all was fine for about a week..I had the intake pipe off a couple times and saw no problems and no excessive shaft play..I took the intake off today and there is oil just outside the comp. wheel and inside my coupler.The...
I would like to be able to switch between my two turbos quickly..One is a BB35r the other is an HTA68...Both are water cooled. The turbo oil and water fittings are my only concern for this thread..
The oil feed for each is worked out and proprietary..
I would like to have a fitting on the oil...
I bought this housing new, years ago for an 18g turbo..Its suppose to be a larger housing then normal..I'm thinking about using it for my HTA68..I want to know what size it is..7,8,10 maybe ? The numbers beside the Mitsu stamp are 78-12050 080
This is in reference to the automatic center-dif, which is different from the manual center-dif..They did mine a couple months ago and was the best price I found, plus you can't beat their reputation.... When you start making power, a welded center or 4 spider upgrade is a must...Send...
Hey everybody, been into DSMs for about 6 years, turbo cars for 20 years..Would like to get up with local DSMers to meetup, talk, help on cars and such...:D
The problem with removing the axle is that there is no ridge to pry against..Put an intercooler clamp around the axle hub..Now you can pry against the clamp tensioner with a screwdriver..Popped mine out in seconds !! Tapping the hub with a small hammer while you pry against the clamp will help...
Car is not lowered, never autocrossed, snow in VA Beach is not an issue, and daily driven..I will go to the track maybe 6 times a year...It also needs to be a taller tire than stock..
Would like to know from those who had this done..What difference did it make ? Was it worth $450 ?....Not interested in those who bought turbos already done....
I don't understand why the big turbo automatic DSMs have to have a 50 shot to spool at the line ? These re-stalled stockers aren't getting it done...Take a look at the turbo buick camp, you buy a turbo and match it to the stall that will make it work..Not the one size fits all BS...We should be...
The cams were in a car I just bought and I just had the head gasket replaced..I bought some adjustable cam gears for it and I need the cam card to degree them right..These are not evo 264 cams....The info on the OTHER board is not correct.....Thanx in advance....
When this pipe gets hot after some hard driving, is it mainly because of underhood heat or the inefficienty of the stock sidemount ? Would a heat wrap help this problem ? What about an aluminum upper pipe ?.........I have a stock sidemount with a Dave B. pipe and a 14b...
