Im having the same issue it sounds like. Ive narrowed mine to to a knock problem(major issue because im running E85 which shouldnt knock) but i just put new plugs in, the wires are good, and i have no boost leak so its somewhere in the tune for my car. if you have your boost turned up and a way...
the afr was at 14.6 during WOT. I calibrated the sensor and it fixed nothing. I just figured for gits and shiggles id go back and check all the connections again. on the box it was ok i even moved the wires around to make sure there wasnt poor wiring and nothing. so i disconnected the gauge...
im running a PLX AFR gauge and before i could see my afr going from 15's when i cold started the car to 12 or 13 going down the road or when i get on the gas. last night it went to 14 and just stopped. i get as low as 13.9 but thats it. checked all my connections and they are check out fine...
Hey guys guess what..I stretch my head bolts, and blew my head gasket. Getting extra pressure in the coolant and its blowing by the radiator cap right before the thermostat. hello ARP headstuds. would go L19 but dont have the extra cash at the moment
If you get a hose that is made for a push-loc fitting. That hose is designed so the ID of the hose is a pretty tight interference fit with the OD of the stem on the fitting. If you use a hose that is not push-loc i recommend using a clamp of some sort, but yes the fitting should be reusable
it would be alright but be warned its going to slam your car(i know i have the same setup). I literally rub the inside of my wheel wells. I would love to raise mine back up but i got rid of all the stock suspension parts
Im rebuilding my blown turbo for a spare and saving also. If you havent already invested in a turbo timer or EGT gauge it will help to reduce the chance of blowing more turbos
Its easy, but its not a direct bolt on. Im replacing my blow T25(which is stock) with another T25 and rebuilding my original and putting away cash for a big 16G
I know a 16G would not b a direct bolt on. I had the same issues aobut 7 days ago. A 16G requires an "install kit" that consists of a j-pipe, oil return line, coolant line, and the misc. parts and pieces that are needed for a 16G turbo. the one i bought was about $185. As for the 14B I do not...
I work in process/machine maintanence and remove broken bolts all the time. Best ways of doing it and not damaging anything is to us an air scribe(or electric) its what is used to engrave in objects. You can pick on up at harbor freight for pretty cheap. To get the bolt out just turn it on and...
checked my compression today, and i had good compression in all cylinders. Took the intercooler piping off and it is just soaked with oil. Turbo has a good amount of shaft play in it. So at the moment it looks like all that i need is a new turbo. Planning on rebuilding this one just for gits and...
I figured as much. I just wanted some extra thought on it. I would lik to put a 16G on it but i cant find on at the moment that i can afford. I was looking in the area of spending 300. I have a buddy who i can buy another t25 off of for now to get it going again so i can get back and forth to...
I am new to the DSM world and i have a few questions. The other day I put a full 3in exhaust in my car. This also removed the cat. After removing the cat the car started smoking really bad. It only smokes if i build any kind of boost pressure(never at idle, or if i stay out of the boost). I am...
