Advice? Don't do it. I just dealt with the woes of a standalone for two years and finally switched to Link. Link is just so simple and effective. And cheap. If you want my AEM series 2 let me know, its for a 1g.
I think having the heater core act as a by-pass actually helps your cooling system.http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/question-about-running-no-heater-core.426104/page-2#post-152865743http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/how-to-bypass-the-thermostat-when-eliminating-heater-core.441066/
I've seen this more than once. I think the stock bumper cover looks the best though.http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/1g-dsm-front-bumper.400370/#post-152559182
You've really given us no more info than low oil and everyone jumps to the conclusion that your engine is seized. How do you know the engine doesn't even try to turn over? The starter can apply a helluva lot more torque to the engine than you can. When you crank it does the starter just click or...
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-turbo-system-intercooler/382016-basics-boost-control-wastegates-how-turn-up-boost.htmlOP post up what kind of boost controller you have so we can better answer your question.
A few hours? That's still pretty far. I know there is a member on here who said they live right down the street from DSM Graveyard. Don't remember who it is but you might wanna ask them to take a trip over there for you, to see if they have em in stock.
Need better pictures. The oil return is a very easy line to find, it runs from the very bottom of the turbo to the oil pan and is less than a foot long. If your turbo has a blocked off oil line then it is toast.
Stock turbo's also have water lines, and while it isn't a good thing to block them...
Just call your bank and dispute the transaction. Whether it is debit, credit, or paypal, you should be able to do this. But do it soon because there are usually time restrictions on these kind of things.
Stock transmissions can reliably hold stock power levels. Once you start making more than stock power there will always be a chance for your transmission to fail. Both automatic and manual will hold up well if you have them built up to handle the extra power.
A worn pedal assembly is very common for 1g cars. You need to determine if you have play in your pedal assembly. Get under the dash, pull your pedal all the way up, and see how far you have to push the pedal down by hand until your master cylinder rod starts to move.
Don't worry too much about how old the thread is. I have to give you credit for actually searching for a thread instead of creating a new one. Most members don't know how to search or they don't want to take the time. Just start troubleshooting based on the replies already in here, and report...
Jay Racing Timing Belt Tools Kit : JNZ Tuning This tool kit will save you tons of time. Honestly I didn't use the pulley tool, I just went by the alternate method from the vfaq and my tension was within spec.If you have never done a timing belt I highly suggest reading through a couple vfaq...
I hope you have at least $30k and some crazy shop sponsorship if you want to hit 1000HP. This is way overkill if all you want to do is put some Camaros and Mustangs to shame. You said you already built that same car to 600hp but you were 200hp short, you might wanna chase down that 600hp mark first.
I have the Jay Racing Cam gear tool, and it fits in there pretty snug. If your belt has slack between the gears and they are not perfectly lined up it might not fit. Having the timing belt off would better allow you to line up the gears in such a way that the tool fits between them.
Yes, pop-ups eliminated. I first saw that hood here:

I was told there isn't enough interest for him to even make a mold for it though.
