i just want to keep it as cool as safely possible. especially when using my a/c. after doing some looking at how the switch is set up i don't think i will be able to wire it the way i mentioned but i am running my main power to my slim fans through relays so i could use it to trigger them...
i just wanted to get some opinions on an idea i had about re wiring my fan controls so they will come on earlier without using link since that upsets timing as well. i am thinking of starting with the vfaq 2g fan bypass but instead of using a toggle switch i was going to use this...
I'll have to see if I can trim the crash beam somehow a little different since my fmic mounts to the lower part not the upper as shown in the link above. As far as hood vents go what does everyone think of this hood?

Dsmkauai please let me know which turbo blanket it is I'd really like to get one.As for hood vents is there anything similar to the rre one that's a little cheaper. It's $159 on there website.Cliff I am trying to do the impossible and keep the ac so I still have my condenser. I could try and...
I am running a 2g manifold with stock upper heat sheild. Since I have a bolt on bep on hx35 and recirc o2 housing I can't fit a sheild on there. Another idea I thought of is a turbo blanket but I have no idea what will fit the housing. I fabbed up a heat sheild out of aluminum to help keep some...
So I'm debating on a hood vent. High coolant temps are my issue. I can see temps of 203 in the morning when it's still cool out with a 160 thermostat with 10 degree offset in link. I am running an hx35 turbo and ets street fmic with ac. I am running the stock shroud in front of condenser with...
Seavee dsm how did your vents work out for you? I noticed on my way home after work on a 80 degree day I hit 186 on a 160 t stat no ac with some good pulls. I know with my ac before I was hitting 216
I have a derale puller for main fan and ebay pusher fan for ac, cx racing aluminum radiator, 160 t stat, 70/ 30 mix with water wetter maybe even more water than that, fans on constantly through link, fan shroud is sealed to rad, and rad is sealed to condenser.I am running hx35 on bep housing...
I have been tossing around the idea of bumper vents to help bring down temps. I am running a little over 200 with ets street fmic and stock front ducts to suck air from fmic. I just don't think I am getting enough air flow. I have been looking into the 350z front vents on eBay and seen...
I went today and had an alignment done and for some reason my front camber differs from right to left. The left side is at -1.5 and the right is at -2.5 but toe was set to zero. On both sides. The rear is at -1.5 on both sides and set to -.12Is the front camber going to be much of an issue...
Just curious if someone can give me an answer on this. I've tried to run my car and disconnect one wire at a time for hooking up gm iat sensor. It isn't until I remove the black wire from my maf sensor that the car stumbles. So my question is can I keep the black wire on the maf and just use the...
After installing revised isc it's now operating as it should. It fluctuates some but I can get it to stay around 30 now so it must have come apart before I pulled it out somehow.
It's idling as it always did it's just the isc position is way outta whack staying high between 70 and 100 and I can't get it down to 30. When I ground the pins in link it goes to 9 and I get the idle close as I can it always fluctuates 100- 150rpms. But that's nothing new.
I hooked up isc and turned car on and off and the isc is operating. I also retested coils and got 32 ohms on all four. Isc motor was a little warm since I have turbo timer the car was on for a few minutes. I am assuming that this is normal.
So since my awd swap I have been having issues trying to adjust my isc. I tested the coils and all tested at 35 ohms. So I then pulled my ecu to check drivers and they all looked good. I did find capacitor 203 leaking so I'm sending ecu to ecmlink. Since drivers were good I decided to pull the...
I. Have a question in regards to gm iat install. I wired it just like the tech article said to and for some reason my maf was not working and my car would barely run and I eventually got a code for volume airflow circuit malfunction. So I undid the iat and hooked both wires back to maf plug and...
I just finished an awd swap and I have found that I have a noticeable rattle just inside the side case of trans by passenger tire. I can feel it when I put my hand on side of case towards top and quiets down when given just a little throttle. I didn't drive it far and seems to shift fine. I just...
Yes sleeves n springs. All four of my springs are 6". Do you have the same kit? It seems like it's gonna be a pita when I put the car down since there's a gap and nothing to hold everything together. Also does everyone move the bump stop to the bottom?
Yes I do. after I posted I figured someone would ask. It's up flush with the top of the sleeve. I can get it pretty close if I continue to adjust until it's only on by about one thread but that to me would be unstable
Just curious what other people have done in this situation. I tried to install my gc kit on my tokico and the springs they sent aren't long enough they are only 6" can you just install as is or do I need more parts or new springs? I don't really want to lower car too much. I had the Tokico...
I have a question about my awd drivetrain I am going to put in my spyder. How do I know it's working properly before I install it? Most of the parts are removed but the engine and trans is still in the donor car. I thought if I spun one of the front wheels then the output of the x case should...
Did you use any camber kits? Also is that with the sleeves adjusted all the way up or is it lowered slightly?I have my fenders rolled already so I am ahead there. :)
I just wanted to get some insight on what I am thinking. I am in the middle of doing an awd swap in my spyder and for suspension on it now I have the tokico blues with lowering spring kit. The ride isn't bad but it sits awfully low. I really want to raise it up some. I was thinking of putting...
Well iat are always higher than I'd like but isn't that taken at the maf before the inter cooler? I know my underwood temps are probably also high I know it gets hot under there. Also what do think each fmic is worth?
The whole thing is I already have the greddy installed and have been running it. I am getting a parts car that already has the ets 7" in it so since I will own two different fmic I was deciding which was best to run. I'm don't have to put up any money to buy an ets fmic it's basically free.
The ets I'm getting is a 7" tall by 3" thick by 26" long
The greddy is 3" thick by 20 something long and I know it's,way taller than 7"I believe this is what I have now.
GReddy 24R Large Front Mount Intercooler Kit Eclipse, Talon 95-99Ok after looking around I found the measurements of...
I'm just surprised that the ets fmic even though it's smaller than the greddy is a more efficient fmic. I know the pipe routing is better. I guess I'll be switching when I pick up this car.
This is the 3" one should I expect similar results?
I know the routing should be much better in turn would give quicker spool. Plus I am doing awd swap for my spyder so track times should improve dramatically. I was running 13.8 now on crappy street tires.
I just thought the greddy would be better due to it being bigger and have less heat soak. I know the ets has shorter pipe routing which is good too. I have greddy on there now but am getting ready to buy a parts car with an ets on it so it raised the question as to what would be better.Also...
Yes a 2g trans. I doubt it that anything was blocked off. I was gonna pull the drain on it to see if it had water in it when I went to pick it up. I'm getting the trans transfer case and all front axles, front cross member, rear thumb nail spoiler, small fmic all for 200
I am looking at an awd trans and transfer case but they have been sitting outside for 3 years. Any ideas on if it would be a mistake to purchase this. It was supposedly removed from a running vehicle that was wrecked and parted out. I am trying to do an awd swap and it's the only one available...
If I got the 1850s will I need to get high imp. Or some sort of easy tune box? I am already having problems with my 1000cc pte injectors bucking at low speeds and part throttle. My tune isn't quite right yet either so this could be a problem as well. I just got a 90 tb I am going to switch to...
Wow you guys work fast. That is the correct link as well. I'm thinking of picking up a set unless I can find something else. What are some descent injectors to get?
Does anyone know if these are descent injectors?End time: Jan 13, 2013, 4:55:59 PM ESTView item:

I plan on using link to simulate the idle switch but i dont know which wires to hook to which ones on my 2g harness since they are all different colors. The ones on the tb are all green each with a different color stripe and the ones on my 2g harness are yellow, red, and i forget the other two...
I found an early 90 tb today in the junkyard but it is the one with only 2 vac ports instead of the one with 4. can this still be used on a 2g with a 6 bolt swap since I already have the 6 bolt manifold or should I just stick with my 2g one?I found the how to swap and it says the one I have...
