Im having this exact problem its great to find this thread, only question i have, is i have a 96 and thinking about changing the CAS to a 97 i know i need the 97 cam but is there anything else ill have to do?

I dont think a pressure drop will be a problem at all. If you want you can locate it where the sidemount use to be, thats how mine is. AEM makes a nice trans temp gauge my buddies got one its nice, i kinda cheaped out and just got a water temp gauge since they are kinda of the samething.

Possible that they have different ohms, im not sure about that. But with the 208 temp your fine with that, nothing to worry about.

Ive heard of people running 315cc Ford Motorsports Injectors but i dont know enough about it to give you a proper answer.

The n/t TB is actually only 58mm whereas the 2g turbo TB is 52mm. The 1g turbo TB is actually 60mm. All can be ported to be larger and if you put any 1g TB on your 2g manifold you will have to port match the manifold to the TB. The real advantage you get when switching to a n/t TB, other than...

Im having the same problem with mine and done everything that you stated. Which ground did you have that was bad?

The fuses and relays are fine and my buddy said that all the grounds are good. We probably gotta run thorugh it again.
