Whats the best way on Timing a 4g63 motor i know where the timing marks are but im ify on where everything lines up? Anyone got experience with this? or anything i can check?
yeah.. thanks again guys.. I had a tow lined up and they blew me off... So i ended up driving it there. It drove pretty smooth and didnt stall or overheat.. Im starting tomorrow on it so we'll see what happens. Peace.
Alright thanks guys. There already is Anti Freeze in the engine.. And i let someone test drive it up and down the road it seemed to run alright kinda rough and misfired abit but it didnt overheat think that did more damage?

I just ordered my HG kit from advanced auto parts. It doesnt say it its a composite head or not. Im just wondering if this matters or not they said it was all stock parts and should fit. It was 106$ total for the kit.
Besides the obvious what are some pros and cons of FWD > AWD does anybody know how much lighter a FWD is? I tried searching for this and couldnt find much.. And wouldn't FWD generally have higher Top End. Sorry for my last conversion thread thanks for the links to the other threads.
How hard is it to convert a FWD DSM to an AWD? And pros v.s cons obviously AWD is better for grip, handling, and hole shot but FWD is lighter anyone know roughly by how much? And wouldn't FWD have more top end power.
Yeah i got the same problem with my TSI how many miles on your GST? Im doing it myself because all my qoutes where around 1000$ also. I hear its not to hard get a buddy to help you thats what i am doing getting a bunch of input from some friends who know engines.
