I get my fitting from Oriellys...they have them in the back not in the front of the store.if you ask them they pull a huge box from the back...i get them there all the time when i do a dsm turbo install

I had the same problem for months and could not figure out why.it turned out that i had a small boost leak in my piping.i had a small hair line crack around my bov flange and when ever i would try to boost more than 5 lbs it would cut out and misfire/detonate.

Probably your alternator going bad....the higher the rpms the more power the car needs if your alternator cant keep up it will start to fail...when the lights come on do you notice any power loss or performance issues

I had a 97 turbo head that i tried to put on my 95 and i had to buy a new head because it did not have the cas holes behind the cam gear...anyone know why this head did not have it

From what i remember you cant put a 95 to 96 cas behind the cam gear if the head is from a 97 to 99.it does not have the bolt holes to mount it.

Here in texas when something like that happens you can go to the dmv and pay $5 and the dmv gives you all the info so you can contact the last owner.

Those numbers are rather low...ide imagine the car would smoke,o have no power...good compression pistons is what moves air into the turbo and helps it spool when it should.do a wet test and see what happens.

I just wanted to update that I resolved my misfire issue.it turned out it was detonation.I boost leak tested the fmic and I found a crack all around my bov flange...I welded it up and I went into boost once more and my issue went away.sadly it destroyed my motor and I had to rebuild it again.now...

I did a head job on our 94 gsx eclipse after it blew the head gasket.I had an extra 2g head so I put that head on there,with an evo 3 intake manifold,and 2g header.it didn't want to turn on after all this was done. I checked the fuel pump its good,tried 3 different injector sets,good running...

Make sure the throttle body flap is open all the way.also make sure that the shreader valve is in the compression tester hose...if it does have low compression the engine will not start.but seeing as it ran fine a few days before that its strange that the cylinder is dead now.

I had the same axact issue you have after I installed a new clutch I adjusted the rod under the dash and it went back to normal.you have to play with it till you find the sweet spot

A lose wastegate flap would also cause you not to boost very much at all.

People say so much crap about ebay turbo but its a hit or miss with them.I have bought two eclipses both with ebay e3 16g turbo and they have been proven to last! One has alot of miles with the turbo and its doing fine.but for every good ebay turbo there are 5 bad ones.

Im pretty sure you bent the valves in the head.

The sensor should be behind the intake cam gear.

Yeaits just the collar that is cracked.the only aftermarket part that's going into the head is a set of mild cams that's it.my goal is only 330hp max and I don't think that's an issue for the stock head to make hp like that.so just cams

The head has no springs,or valves.the head has already gone to the machine shop and was told that it would be fine before I bought the head.ill be taking it to my machine shop also to see if it good by my machine guy.its just the bare head so I clearly see the crack and its only on the collar

O man thanks alot I was worried that it would affect the head in some way..there is a piece that is about to completely brake off.should I go ahead and just take it all the way off so I don't risk it falling off after the head is on and risk it getting into the oil passages

I don't understand how it can be replaced it looks like part of the head.the collar that's broken is what the little metal tube that guides the valve goes into.its all aluminum,I know the valve guide/seal can be removed but the collar that's broken is what goes around the valve guide.
