Just looked through your whole build... I gotta say, I'm blown away. I'll definitely keep following this thread. Keep it up, I'm sure it takes a whole lot of motivation to keep on going.
Visit a local junkyard and pull a good set of "drip mouldings" off another eclipse. Very easy to take off and put on. Just be careful when pulling off the rubber stripping to get to the screws holding the moulding.
Yeah I know, but it was tough getting to college without a car and getting around to places so this is what I found... now that I own this, I'm finding a shit load of GST's for basically what I paid for this. FML so hard.
Wow the paint turned out very nicely after the polish and detail work you did. I bet that little Colt moves quick with the 4g63t in it. Nice work! Can't wait to see more.
Better hope that frame comes out perfect... I'd be pissed if it still messed up axles and crap after all that work. But hell, looks like a sweet project.
Well, with all the guides and articles here... yeah. Plus, my brother in law happens to have a tool truck and a huge compressor with a shit load of attachments. He's a diesel mech and has been helping me out. But for the most part, I could do things myself. And yeah I've seen that these things...
Thinking about selling the car, if I can for the right price, and getting a gst... but I'm not sure yet. The money will have to be something I cannot refuse. I don't know, my dad looked at me funny when I told him haha. Then I explained and now he understands my pain with this chrysler engine.
Well, are you looking into getting a AWD 2g or a FWD turbo 2g? The AWD gsx will definitely suit your performance needs along with handling and cornering and all that stuff. Your budget should be sufficient for the kind of mods you're looking for.
