Hi all I just started experiencing a motor running sound even when my car is turned off coming from my left front fenderwell. Just wondering what this is and why it keeps running even after my car is off. Any help is appreciated thanks.
I am really not sure how it works but I am thinking the symptoms are similar to having a atmospheric bov. I went ahead and bought dsmlink full because i was running really rich i had done blts over and over and nothing was fixing my problem. I had read up on Idle clamp and in a post tom said...
Found the solution to my problem! Turned out to be due to my aftermarket intake pipe shape or size I guess. Either way hooked up dsmlink checked idle clamp and waala problem gone! This thread is resolved! :hellyeah:
I just threw together my own kit: an fittings, npt adaptor, sender, 2 ft of line. Relocated sender next to the ps pump. Works great and accurate! Make sure to use thread sealer on connections.
Does anybody know where the enable idle air clamp box is located in dsmlink v3? I searched all over and found out how to use it but not where it's actually located.
I have been having this problem for some time now and I just can't figure it out. Sometimes after i get on the gas then let off the car dies out. I am thinking fuel issue but not sure, and before anybody asks: BLT ok, BOV recirculated, fpr good. I am lost and really need some help so any is...
For some reason I can not get my fuel trims up to a respectable level without reducing global fuel by a whole lot. Anybody who knows dsmlink have any suggestions for me?
Im thinking it's gas. You can keep your car running by letting throttle all the way off before pushing the clutch until you get it figured out this has been working for me. You have dsmlink? What do your fuel trims look like?
I agree with AlaskanDsm my problem is similar (not too much smoke though) and so far I have narrowed it down to something with fuel trims and getting kicked out of closed loop. I actually just started a thread about this recently as well where i posted a log...
I installed my lc1 yesterday, and i'm wondering if somebody can take a look at screenshots from my log and see if everything looks correct (I tried to post the log itself but the filesize is around 20 kb too big :ohdamn:). I have been seeing some low afrs and my o2 sensor seems like its jumpy...
Today I took on the project of trying to install a innovate lc1 on my talon. I hooked up all wires according to this guide http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/421002-innovate-lc-1-installation-options.html. Once everything was hooked up I tried starting her up but all...
This was happening to me as well... did a BLT and found leaks from the biss and some dry rotted hoses. Good thing to do even though it didn't completely fix my problem.
Clean The Inside Of The Boot Out With Lectra Cleen Electric Componet Spray. Blow Out Any Remaining Dust With Air And Slightly Squeeze The Inner Loop Connector With Some Pliers. Also Once You Get Them Tight Put A Dab Of Electric Grease On The Plug Tip. This Will Decrease Carbon Build Up In The...
Not sure at all if this is normal and I have no where near 3599hp but this was a screenshot of a log I took today. ROFL . On a related note if anyone could tell me how this happened I would be interested.
Got some logs could not get it to die out on this run only come close towards the end but if you guys notice anything abnormal in the log let me know...
My BOV is stock, and recirculated. MAF is stock 2G.I don't have a wideband, not quite sure how to get the rest of those values. I will post another log of it ASAP getting it cutting out.
Yes, I have stock fpr haven't checked it though. Do you think this could be the problem?Sorry, didn't know that was an option... a little new to this. :D
My 2G 95 eagle talon tsi awd has a 6 bolt swap with 1G head, intake, and tb. While driving if I get on the gas around 2500-3000 or higher RPM then let off the car stalls, but starts right back up. I got ECMlink to see what the problem might be (as well as turn off random misfire code) and I...
