His story isn't public, I just happen to know it. I will aks and see if he is willing to talk here on Tuners again. But sure thing, Kylie is a damn nice 2G!
There is a whole lot of story behind it but I think he should tell it himself. But he is letting Kylie go. He wants to move on.
Maybe you guys are thinking how does he know but I have been chatting with Ernie for over a month now and you could say we have become friends
Thx but I have to pass on that one, why is it so cheap anyway? Looks fairly decent right?I am mailing with someone with a green 2gb spyder. If it move's along I will update here
There is a possiblity that the shop used the wrong regulator to rebuild your alternator, this the battery gets damaged slowly and eventually it gives in. For example a dead cell
If i am correct the blower motor receives its power from the controls. You should check if the motor gets power, if not check the power on the controls if the fuses are fine.
@awesome , that's a little bit to much for me lol@mitsubishikid , thanks for looking for me! I understand every car needs some work but I'm a Mitsubishi mechanic so that won't be a problem. The thing is, it's easier if the car is mostly stock and in good condition to pass the import-inspection...
The sites that I have been using have them for around 5-6k but most of them were auto's. Does that bring the value down because manuals are more desirable right?
What site's can I use to look? I've been searching on ebay, cargurus and craigslist but with cl i have to pick a state?
Hi guys,
Ok since my EU model 2g Gs wich I am currently daily driving is going to be a gift for my girlfriend I need another one. I'm looking for a mint condition 2g gst spyder. Here in europe there are few imported ones for sale and I have checked out a few but they were very dissapointing to...
On the left side on top of the list of threads there's a button called " new thread". Be sure the read the rules and stuff before posting;) Welcome by the way!
On top of your tranny you can see the selectors where your cables hook up. Unhook the cables and lay them aside. Now you can select a gear with your hands, it's just like shifting in your car. It sounds weird now but when you do it you will understand. This way you can find out if your tranny is ok.
If his problem is mechanic tuning wouldn't really solve his problem. Just like Jafro said in one of his early video's, get your system working right and then start tuning.
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/frequently-answered-dsm-questions/337343-how-identify-eprom-ecu.htmlUse this link to see if your ecu is eprom but as far as I know '95 has no eprom. You can get a eprom ecu with link on classifeid here, I did the same thing.
A wideband is one thing you need when...
I had this problem with my galant. You should check the gears on the tranny itself, this way your 100% sure its not the problem. If thats oke, disconnect the cables on both sides and check if the cables can move Freely. If they turn out ok, it must be the shifter.
The way I test the valveseals is just letting the car idle for two minutes(large vacum in the motor) and then give it some gas or start accelerating. When you spot some blue smoke it's almost 100% sure that your seals are bad.
When you remove the 2 shafts you need to block off the oilsupply for the right one. This means taking out the bearings(wich have holes in them for the oil to go through) and putting them back in at another angle.4g63 Balance Shaft Elimination - bearing modification - YouTubeHere's a nice...
It's a GTI but the last owner but a turbo on it, that's why it had a vr4 ecu. If you can help me with finding a ecu that is suppose to go in my galant, please do! It is a E39 model, does it matter fwd or awd?
I don't with a 1g but with my galant theres a black connector at the firewall, you can connect it to the positive battery terminal to let the pump work the air out of the rail/system
The CAS is the cam angel sensor, but since yours is probably converted its no longer needed. Correct me if I'm wrong but I can see a connector put on one of the wires, that would conferm it.
Hi guys,I'm currently restoring a '89 Galant Gsx, but since the last owner put in a vr4 ecu I need a new one. This car is very rare here so I'm having trouble finding one. What I would like to know is, can I use an American 1g na ecu like md128624?
I can't find any info on the difference...
At my work we often have the same problem. Lights keeps popping on and no codes shown.
Always turns out the be the heater-core from the o2 sensor. You can easily measure the resistance(just take the sensor-plug), if there isn't any it's broke. From what I know is, when the engine is hot it...
What I do when I remove the hydraulic tensioner, I re-compress it so that the holes line up and I can put a pin through them. Now when I'm putting tension on the timingbelt-tensioner the pin I just put in should be moveable. This way I always know I've got the right pre-tension.
And as I said...
I can't show you right now but what I mean is when your our looking at your frontcase, I always set my tensioner''holes'' towards the balancershaft on the right-below(the one thats on the timingbelt).
You could say the tensioner is at 5 o'clock.Hope you follow me
When your tps is saying 77% when you're going full throttle you should check your cable setting. If that doesn't work you need to adjust your tps:Tuning 101 - tuning with the car off - YouTubeHe has more of this kind of this video's, they have been really helpful to me
That's how I do it too. And I always piont the 2 holes of the tensioner towards the lowest balancer.
This way you get the right pre-tension.The reason I do this is because whe had some customer who had leave there car in 1st gear on a hill. When they came back and started the car the belt...
